Kate Burton, who received an Emmy nomination for a guest turn in Grey's Anatomy, has joined the cast of Supreme Courtships, a Fox comedy-drama pilot about six Supreme Court clerks and the judges they work for.
Burton will play a justice, while Camille Guaty (Fox's Prison Break) will play her ambitious, smart, and liberal clerk.
In other pilot casting news:
- Lucy Punch, Christopher Denham, and Geneva Carr have landed leads in Fox's comedy pilot Two Families, which revolves around two sets of adult siblings who share the same father (Beau Bridges). Punch, Denham, and Carr will play three of the siblings.
- Jarrad Paul and Kurt Fuller have joined ABC's comedy pilot See Jane Run, which centers on an alpha female in an investment banking firm. Fuller will play the woman's boss. Paul will play a hardworking associate.
- Holly Robinson Peete has joined ABC's drama pilot Football Wives, which follows the wives of professional football players. Robinson Peete will play the mother of the star wide receiver (Brian White).
- Mae Whitman has joined NBC's drama pilot The Bionic Woman, a reimagination of the 1970s series. Whitman will play the younger sister of the title character (Michelle Ryan).
- Mo Collins has come aboard NBC's comedy pilot Wild Life, which is set at a wildlife park. Collins will play an animal handler bored with her job.
- Reg Rogers has been cast in Fox's drama pilot Them, which centers on a sleeper cell of extraterrestrial terrorists who take the shape of humans. Rogers will play the "therapist" who helps the agents assimilate into their new culture.
