Angie Harmon joins Inconceivable cast

Angie Harmon, formerly of Law & Order fame, has joined the cast of NBC's Inconceivable, a drama about the trials and tribulations of a group of doctors and technicians in a fertility clinic.

Harmon will take the newly created role of Dr. Nora Campbell, an unconventional fertility doctor with a few skeletons rattling in her closet. She will be working with actors such as Reynaldo Rosales (She Hate Me, Sucker Free City), Ming-Na (ER), and Jonathan Cake (Empire).

Although this will be Harmon's first TV series work since she left Law & Order in 2001, she has been far from unproductive in the meantime. She's appeared in the Lifetime movie Video Voyeur and the feature film Agent Cody Blanks and will show up in two more films later this year.

Harmon's offscreen life has been busy as well--she has given birth to two children (one just this week) and spent time supporting the Bush/Cheney campaign in 2004.
