Anil Kapoor is confident that filming of the latest series of 24 will wrap up next month, despite Kiefer Sutherland's injury.

The Slumdog Millionaire actor - who plays Omar Hassan in the fast-paced show - was tight-lipped about Kiefer's progress after he reportedly suffered from a ruptured cyst on set, only saying: "I'm sure he'll be fine."

He added: "It's on hold and we start shooting very soon ... I think in March we wrap up everything."

Anil also hinted there may be another side to his alter-ego.

"I enjoy doing it, performing it, and it's very unpredictable, you know? It starts with him as a very noble president, very charismatic, and it's becoming very edgy and you know, more like King Lear," he teased.

But asked if Omar can be trusted, he laughed: "I'm not going to say that. It depends on you. What you feel. Do you feel like trusting him?"

:: 24 is on Sky1 HD and Sky1 on Sundays at 9pm.
