Jennifer Aniston has been lots of things--Rachel from Friends, magazine cover girl, and movie star--but she can't seem to get over two labels: Brad Pitt's ex and tabloid target. The actress was on cloud nine before the much-publicized breakup of Hollywood's "it couple," and has since seen Angelina Jolie fill her role in the new romance that is front-and-center all over the media. Ouch.
And just recently, Aniston was on the short end of another relationship that went kaput. Musician John Mayer ended their fling last month, leaving Aniston out in the cold again.
For all of you out there on Team Jen, be comforted to know that Aniston is still wanted by someone. The actress is returning to the network that made her a star, as late last week it was confirmed by her publicist that she'll be guest starring on NBC's 30 Rock.
Details on her role are still under wraps (as is the episode's air date), but given 30 Rock's real-life show-biz slant, Aniston could conceivably play herself or an entirely new character. 30 Rock, starring Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin, takes a funny, inside look at the production of a sketch-comedy show and the trials and tribulations that go on behind the scenes.
Aniston's BFF's hubby is also getting some guest work in. David Arquette, who is married to Friends alumna Courtney Cox, will play one of Earl Hickey's karmic targets on NBC's My Name is Earl, says EW.com. As stuntman Johnny, Arquette will see Earl (Jason Lee) try and make amends for sleeping with his girlfriend. Problem is, Johnny suffers from short-term memory loss. Hilarity (probably) ensues!
Finally, one of Oceanic 815's bossiest characters is making a crash landing on Lost again. Michelle Rodriguez is reappearing on ABC's time-bending, flash-backing, flash-forwarding sci-fi drama, says EW.com, reprising her role as Los Angeles cop and badass Ana Lucia. Thing is, Ana Lucia was gunned down by turncoat Michael in season two, so the question is will she return in a flashback or as one of the theorized ghosts of the island?
EW says her appearance is set for episode two of season five, which also features Cheech Marin as a guest star. Marin plays Hurley's dad, so common sense says that episode is a Hurley-centric hour. Maybe Hurley sees Ana Lucia in one of his visions...can't wait to find out!

Yeah i know it's easier to date within your same profession and circles, but maybe if she dated a "normal" guy that would appreciate her more she wouldnt keep getting screwed over.
She's out of my league obviously, but if she dated a person like me, I would likely be less inclined to leave her.... i mean she'd have to be really hard to put up with anyway for me to dump her.

Great news about Jen, Earl sounds once again hilarious, but bad news about Michelle Rodriguez. By far the most anoying actress to have appeared on Lost, her getting shot in the head is still one of my favourit scenes, played it over and over again. So the only flashback I want to see is her being axe-murdered or strangled or something. Die Ana Lucia, Die!
Jennifer Aniston doing 30 Rock is the best thing to happen since Lisa Kudrow's show, The Comeback, was canceled! I hope that she will make more than one episode, but right now she is only on for one.
Interesting news but the Michelle Rodriguez news is a bit old...After the 30 Rock episode Jennifer Aniston should get to work on a Friends movie with Matt, Courtney, Lisa, David and Matthew. It's still a rumor for now that's been denied by some but never say never. :)
