The Arrowverse Crossover Has Found Its Lois Lane

The upcoming Arrowverse crossover event featuring Arrow, Supergirl and The Flash is shaping up to be the best one yet!

Lois Lane is set to finally make her Arrowverse debut, and we now know who will play her. TV Guide has learned that Elizabeth Tulloch will take on the role of the iconic journalist. Tulloch's credits include Grimm, Portlandia, Lonelygirl15 and the film Concussion alongside Will Smith and Alec Baldwin.

Tulloch joins Tyler Hoechlin who will reprise his role as Superman for all three episodes of the major event. There is no word yet on how many episodes Tulloch will appear in, but we hope she's sticking around for Supergirl.

"We couldn't be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse," Supergirl showrunners Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner previously said of debuting the beloved character in the crossover. "This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters."

Superman Joins the Arrowverse Crossover!

Although details about the crossover remain scarce, we do know that the it will also see Ruby Rose make her debut as the iconic gay superhero Batwoman. And while the crossover will visit the famed city during those action-packed episodes, don't expect Batman to make an appearance, because The CW has no current plans to introduce the billionaire caped crusader into the Arrowverse.

Instead, expect plenty of action during this epic team-up between our favorite DC heroes. The Arrowverse three-way crossover begins Sunday, Dec. 8 at 8/7c on The CW.

(Full disclosure: TV Guide is owned by CBS, one of The CW's parent companies.)

No Legends in the Crossover? Never a good sign for the longevity of a show

Mmmmm.. maaaaybe... not certain she has the acting chops for this role. She has certain Margot Kidder like features... oh well... let's give it the benefit of the doubt. Until I see her perform, it's a hard call to make. I am waiting to be convinced...

"as the iconic gay superhero Batwoman"

*sigh* She's not "iconic" no matter how much people try to make her "iconic" just by calling her iconic.

Look up what "iconic" means.

Lol, also she's not iconic for being gay either, they just made her gay later on in the comic run.

Oddly enough I always thought the one who played Nick on Grimm, David Giutoli, would have made a good Superman and may have been up for the part once. I think she’ll do great. Of course she looks nothing like the Jenna Dewan Tatum who played Lucy but given that they have re cast Alura with already I doubt it matters.
