The O.C.,'s Summer Roberts (Rachel Bilson) will have a little competition this fall when Autumn Reeser joins the cast of the hugely popular prime-time teen soap.
Reeser, who's 25, has been acting since she was seven and has made guest appearances on shows such as Grounded for Life, George Lopez, and MTV's Undressed, among others. Her most recent television gig was a recurring role on ABC's Complete Savages, a comedy about a single father, which was pulled from the air earlier this year.
Reeser comes to The O.C. as new-girl-in-school Taylor Townsend, who will lock horns with Summer for control of the Orange County teen social scene. The beloved series' sordid plot is sure to thicken in its third season, which begins on Thursday, September 8, at 8:00pm ET/PT, 7:00pm CT.
I reckon she is really good 4 a main character i mean really good and if any1 has a problem well that is ur bad luck
Summer rocks...nobody can take away her crown as the oc's "***" - even though deep down she is a caring/sweet character - but Marissa is the o.c's "perfect girl" and along with Summer the ruled Harbour High - Taylor (new girl) is gonna try and take Harbour High as her own - become social chair and steal the limelight away from Marissa and Summer - but will she try and steal the guys? - hope not!

I like the character Summer and the actress Rachel Bilson im not so sure about all these new characters. Now the o.c. is still as good but i want them to just focus on the main characters Ryan, Marrissa, Seth, and Summer and some on Ryans brother Trey as well as the parents Sandy, Kristin, Julie, and now Jimmy as he has now came into the picture Creater Josh Shortwez already has said season 3 is full with all kinds of shocking surprzies so don't forget the season premere Sept. 8th at 8/7c only on fox
uh oh, Summer better watch out. We've got another season coming and her name is Autumn... but my money is so on Summer.
