It's a different kind of toy story. Christian Borle, Megan Hilty and Tom Cavanagh head the voice cast of Disney Junior's first original movie Lucky Duck, which will have its premiere on the channel Friday, June 20 (7/6c). The animated musical film — about a trio of misfit tub toys in search of the kids who love them — will then get a replay the following morning, Saturday, June 21 (9 a.m./8c) on Disney Channel.
The story introduces an unflappable rubber ducky with a broken squeaker named Lucky (voiced by Borle) and two kindred spirits — Flo (Hilty), a Type-A hippo, and Snap (Cavanagh), a timid turtle — who find themselves stranded at sea on a storm-tossed cargo ship.
Lucky Duck will also be available for verified users on the WATCH Disney Junior app for smartphones and tablets and on WATCHDisneyJunior.com beginning Friday, June 6.
