Nerds, dorks, dweebs--it's almost time to put on your Viper pilot cosplay outfit and get ready to watch one of the best shows on television end its run. It is with both a heavy heart and unbridled anticipation that Battlestar Galactica fans await the return of the show; on one hand, we're dying to know what happens, and on the other, it means the beginning of the end of one heck of a series.

Battlestar Galactica has been off the air since June, with Sci-Fi Channel's wacky scheduling cutting the show's final (*sniff*) season in half. But it is coming back, and after what felt like frakkin' years of waiting, we finally have a return date.
The second half of season four of Battlestar Galactica will get going on January 16 at 10 p.m., according to super-snoop Michael Ausiello of EW.com. And for those looking for an end date, Ausiello also says the series finale will take place on March 20.
The final stretch run of Battlestar Galactica, which, I will say again, is currently television's best science-fiction (and possibly drama) program, is slated for 10 episodes. However, producers have said that those 10 episodes will run at least 11 hours long, possibly more. AND--there is at least one post-series Battlestar Galactica TV movie in the works as well.
Ten more episodes, guys...are you ready!?

Not soon enough, if you ask me! And regarding Frakkin Frakker... I agree partially... I still am very hyped by BSG, that's some of the best TV in TV history, I am just right now rewatching it with my girl (who is not a Sci-Fi geek but loves good entertainment, so she loves BSG) and I gotta say... I did forget lots of plots in the past years... just rewatch it, and you will be hyped again :D

YES, FINALLY!!! can't wait to see the second half of season four.
Well, I'm glad we can finally comment. I guess I'm glad the show has a date. To be honest, with all this waiting, I'd forgotten about it. Can't say I'm overly excited. I'm sure they'll decide to only air five of them and wait another year to air the final five....which they'll probably split into three.... I've never seen something this good run so badly. Maybe I'll tune it... if I remember....but it's been so long. Which night does it air again? Friday? Sunday? ... I'm not sure I care anymore actually. I mean...is there really a difference if I don't watch on it on the air...and just wait a little longer for the eventual home video release? I mean, it's already cancelled so the ratings don't matter...and what's the downside to waiting a few more months and actually getting to watch it in a coherent manner without month long interruptions.
Yes, expect me to be more vocal about this in the coming weeks. As a consumer we've been cheated and treated badly and if you're not outraged about it you should be.moreless
