Other people have been saying it, so I'll add my voice to the chorus: Better Off Ted needs to be moved to Wednesdays at 8 p.m. Seriously, ABC. You know that Scrubs ain't what it used to be—and its miserable Tuesday night ratings are only pulling Better Off Ted down with it. Wasn't Wednesday night supposed to be some sort of "comedy block"? That miserable Kelsey Grammer trainwreck Hank got canceled, so there's an open slot at 8 p.m. where Hank used to be.
Better Off Ted's fresh, biting humor really deserves the ratings support of a comedy like Modern Family, which is clearly on an upward ascent (unlike the downward-spiraling Scrubs). And who knows? BOT could even provide The Middle and Cougar Town with an added ratings boost. It sure as hell fits into the lineup, with its office-related one-liners and its witty repartee-filled characters. Plus, it kind of keeps with the "family" theme that the comedy block has goin' on: Tomorrow's episode, "The Lawyer, the Lemur, and the Little Listener," features Ted's (Jay Harrington) adorable curly-coiffed daughter, Rose (Isabella Acres), who gets the scoop on company layoffs during day-care. And Linda (Andrea Anders) tries her hand at writing childrens' books. (Not-as-family-friendly-bonus: Lem (Malcolm Barrett) gets down and dirty with a company lawyer. Bow-chicka-wow-wow.) If you ask me, it all sounds like a great way to kick off a Wednesday night.
Better Off Ted airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. on ABC.

It seems like all of Ted's viewers post in forums on the 'net, because it's ratings are clearly lacking. The only place ABC needs to move this sorry excuse for a comedy is to the trash bin. As far as Ted bringing down Scrubs, have you even looked at the ratings? More than 5 million people watched Scrubs last week compared to just 3.4 million for Ted. Now, I don't know what kind of math people use, but 5 million is quite a bit more than 3.4 million. Ted is a dud and the sooner ABC realizes it the better off it will be.
It's a great show! Move it!
Please do movie it, if this show gets canceled I will be VERY sad.
YES! Move it! Do anything to give Ted live for some years!!!! MM
I may be one of the few that thinks mourns the cancelling Hank but since it happened then yes, move Better Off Ted into that Wednesday comedy block. It is a great show and deserves the spot.
I feel scrubs even though having gone it's length in age still has a few punches to pull. Better off Ted is a great warm up to it but your also dealing with the fact that scrubs having a higher popularity stealing the spotlight with Bill Lawrence's other show "cougar town"So to that degree I think Scrubs might take the spot on Wednesday.Don't get me wrong I love Better off Ted, But unlike those who have already made their comments I still believe in Scrubs.
I'm torn. I want the show to stay around, but it's currently the only good thing on tuesdays. Hell, it's the only reason I still watch scrubs
I really like this show cause it takes such a different view of office work than the office, its great, but def needs more time to develop
yes, yes this show is good but face it this show is not gonna be a hit, sad
I hope this show stays around. It should move to Wednesday to fit in with the other comedies. Scrubs should have stayed gone after last season. It's just not the same anymore.
I love this show. I would move it to the wednesday night spot where Hank used to be. Scrubs would be left without a companion show though but with it more than likely being in its final season, ABC should focus on Better Off Ted which has a good long run in it if put in the right place.
Agreed! This show is incredibly underrated. I hope it can fight it out for a few more seasons as it definitely deserves it!
