... Criminal Minds fans, prepare to say "Yay!," "Yay!," "Noooo!" Fan-favorite A.J. Cook is in discussions to return to the series... as a regular! Yay! Also, Paget Brewster might return to the show, too, if her new role on the NBC pilot My Life As An Experiment falls through. Yay! But, longtime showrunner Ed Bernero is leaving. Noooo! Executive producer Erica Messer will take his place. Meh. [Deadline Hollywood]

... American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez has been named "The World's Most Beautiful Woman" by People magazine, beating out People's less-beautiful winners Halle Berry, Jennifer Garner, and Beyonce. ... ABC Family has picked up Jane By Design to series and set its debut for early next year. The light drama follows a high-school teen who lands a cushy corporate job in the fashion world after a case of mistaken identity. It sounds kind of like that Arrested Development storyline with Maeby and the movie studio, except way, way, way longer. [ABC Family via press release]

... Food Network and its sister network Cooking Channel (what a fortuitous partnership!) have announced that they will premiere 29 new series and bring back 22 other series in the 2011-2012 season, and if you think I'm naming all of them then you've just won a free one-way ticket to Crazy Town. Look to your left, look to your right. One of the people you just saw has a show on the Food Network or Cooking Channel. [Broadcasting & Cable]

... Rumors that Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton returning to One Tree Hill have been addressed... and crushed. Apparently the producers and actors tried to work out some deals, but due to scheduling, none were reached. [TV Line]
