Blog Spotlight: No Resolution in 'L Word' Finale
The finale of "The L Word" Sunday did nearly everything it was supposed to do: A one hour special considered the context and achievements of the stories in its six seasons, just as the tribute special to "Sex and the City" did. Then the finale tried to wind together all manner of loose ends while bringing in just about every memorable character of the past, many of whom have gone on to other bigger broadcast shows, from Eric Mabius (now on "Ugly Betty") to Sarah Shahi (now on "Life").
And there was that central question of the season: Who killed Jenny Schecther, the mercurial and often infuriating young woman who came into the series as a curious neighbor and ended up as some sort of centerpiece for lipstick lesbian hatred in this fictional L.A. sommunity. Read More
