Body of Proof, NCIS: LA, and The Good Wife

What to watch on Tuesday, March 29th.

And then the clouds parted and Tuesday shone down upon us. Come on, let's all walk in the rays of a glorious day of TV:

SERIES PREMIERE, 10pm, ABC
Body of Proof
Hey, Dana Delany's got a new show, you guys! Forget all her Desperate Housewives campiness, things are about to get gritty: Meet Megan Hunt, a successful surgeon who's forced to become a medical examiner when an accident renders her unable to operate. That's right: She's armless. (No, she's not.) Also: Kima from The Wire!

9pm, CBS
NCIS: Los Angeles
Tonight, Kensi goes undercover as an unnecessarily attractive thief in order to find out who attempted to rob a Marine base and why. The big question is, does anybody watch this show on purpose, or do they just assume it's the second half of the original NCIS?

10pm, CBS
The Good Wife
Look, I am not going to lie, this show tricked me. Apparently it sometimes switches up its episode order at the last minute? (Can that even be right? Isn't it a serialized drama?) Because I said that last week's episode would be about a criminal who writes a hit song about his victim, but that is actually what's happening tonight. Good, because that premise still doesn't make sense. Unless "hit song" means something else? Also, I think I don't like that blonde bro lawyer. Prove me wrong, show.

10pm, NBC
Parenthood
'Sup, Richard Dreyfuss! He guest stars in tonight's episode, which also finds Crosby and Jasmine bonding over Jabbar's school honor, Amber's new job developing a complication, and Joel and Julie receiving some worrisome medical news. Parenting, am I right? It's not like kids come with manuals!

9pm, SyFy
Destination Truth
This week Josh and his team search for disembodied spirits in a deserted Namibian mining town. I don't know you guys, sometimes I think these people are just asking for trouble. It's like when I was watching Paranormal Activity, and the Ouija board caught fire and the lady who was sitting behind me shouted "SEE!" That lady knows what I'm talking about.

PLUS ALL NEW EPISODES OF...

Dancing With the Stars, 8 p.m., ABC
NCIS, 8 p.m., CBS
The Biggest Loser, 8 p.m., ABC
Million Dollar Listing, 9 p.m., Bravo
Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy, 9 p.m., History Channel
Traffic Light, 9:30 p.m., Fox
Big Brian: The Fortune Seller, 10 p.m., TruTV
Lights Out, 10 p.m., FX
Marcel's Quantum Kitchen, 10 p.m., Syfy
Teen Mom 2, 10 p.m., MTV
The Game, 10 p.m., BET
The Real Housewives of Miami, 10 p.m., Bravo
Top Shot, 10 p.m., History Channel
Let's Stay Together, 10:30 p.m., BET

"The big question is, does anybody watch this show on purpose, or do they just assume it's the second half of the original NCIS?" Really again with the opinions... Save it for a blog! Just tell us what's on, not your opinion of it. And for the record I am watching NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles (ON PURPOSE)

NCIS and NCIS: LA. Both are good shows, and very different from one another. Their only similarity is they cover marine and navy-related crimes. NCIS: LA has definitely established its own identity now. Callen and Sam are a great team, and Deeks is hilarious. Lately, I've been looking forward to NCIS: LA a little more than NCIS, but I still never miss an episode of either show.

lol ncisla nah it has its hit and miss eps but its a decent show. though crap compared to its older brother ncis. plus the cast doesn't really make sense unless hedi had her legs and arms blown off in the war (whatever war she's been in) i like her though but she doesn't fit at all with the job. plus its weird that they don't have a director/qualified boss (no vance doesn't count).

Gonna check out Proof of Life, but the trailer made it look painful. As for NCISLA, had they kept the original boss-lady then I'da stuck around.

ncis la and the 1st ncis feel like 2 very diff shows to me and i like them both for diff reasons...the blond bro lawyer(i assume you are talking about cary) is one of the reasons to watch the show...but there are so many. tues cbc line-up is the best 3 hrs of tv...now out of that context justified abd chicago code are my 2 favorite shows these days....body of proof is going to be watched i record the others. have no expectations,we will see...

The Good Wife. It has been such a surprisingly good show. I though I'd never waste my time watching a legal show. But The Good Wife has everything: Great drama, loads of humour, fantastic actors, smart story lines, witty dialogue, surprising endings and Archie Panjabi. Damn, I love that woman.
