What to watch on Tuesday, March 29th.
And then the clouds parted and Tuesday shone down upon us. Come on, let's all walk in the rays of a glorious day of TV:
SERIES PREMIERE, 10pm, ABC
Body of Proof
Hey, Dana Delany's got a new show, you guys! Forget all her Desperate Housewives campiness, things are about to get gritty: Meet Megan Hunt, a successful surgeon who's forced to become a medical examiner when an accident renders her unable to operate. That's right: She's armless. (No, she's not.) Also: Kima from The Wire!
NCIS: Los Angeles
Tonight, Kensi goes undercover as an unnecessarily attractive thief in order to find out who attempted to rob a Marine base and why. The big question is, does anybody watch this show on purpose, or do they just assume it's the second half of the original NCIS?
The Good Wife
Look, I am not going to lie, this show tricked me. Apparently it sometimes switches up its episode order at the last minute? (Can that even be right? Isn't it a serialized drama?) Because I said that last week's episode would be about a criminal who writes a hit song about his victim, but that is actually what's happening tonight. Good, because that premise still doesn't make sense. Unless "hit song" means something else? Also, I think I don't like that blonde bro lawyer. Prove me wrong, show.
'Sup, Richard Dreyfuss! He guest stars in tonight's episode, which also finds Crosby and Jasmine bonding over Jabbar's school honor, Amber's new job developing a complication, and Joel and Julie receiving some worrisome medical news. Parenting, am I right? It's not like kids come with manuals!
This week Josh and his team search for disembodied spirits in a deserted Namibian mining town. I don't know you guys, sometimes I think these people are just asking for trouble. It's like when I was watching Paranormal Activity, and the Ouija board caught fire and the lady who was sitting behind me shouted "SEE!" That lady knows what I'm talking about.
