Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul Tease Breaking Bad Season 5 (VIDEO)

Fact: Breaking Bad Season 5 is coming to your television this summer. Opinion: Breaking Bad is the best show on TV right now. Because of that fact and that opinion, any new details about the upcoming season are of utmost importance. And finally, we've got a little tease of what to expect.

This behind-the-scenes look at Season 5 is the first promotional video released by AMC for the highly anticipated next chapter of the drama, and features actors and Emmy winners Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul telling us what we already assumed would be true: that Season 5 is going to be insane. There's no new footage or real talk about what's happening but OMG Breaking Bad Season 5!!!

What is that thing that's just off to the left from Cranston? Is it a new mobile meth lab? Is it Walter White Jr. carrying an AK-47? Is it a zombiefied Gus Fring? Why are Walter and Jesse wearing the same T-shirt? And how adorable is Cranston? The guy almost seems more excited about the show than we are!

AMC has yet to announce the premiere date for Breaking Bad's fifth season, but we do know that it will be eight episodes long and that Season 6 (also eight episodes in length) will be the final season.

Only comment below if you're really excited for Season 5. Like, really really excited!

I am really excited...like really really excited!

*Cool voice* "Walter White is not in danger....he IS the danger"

Yeeeah Cranston for the win!!

My top 5 running shows:

1. Breaking Bad : Excellent in every aspects from storylines through characters all the way to the camera work. Yeah you heard me: friggin camera work

2. Game of Thrones: One of the most complex worlds, based on the best fantasy book series since Lord of the Rings with more thought-out characters and storylines than you can count. Brings fantasy to a whole new level (plus it got DRAGONS!!).

3. Homeland: The biggest surprise of last year. Realistic characters and nerve-racking scenes that will grip you tight and not let go. And which other series can get away with a romance involving the biggest enemies and make you love it?

4. Sons of Anarchy: I just need my Kurt Sutter fix, since The Shield is gone...

5. Fringe: After the mediocre Season 1 this series quickly rose from a modern X-Files to being one of the best sci fi shows on TV. After all it's not easy to create a thousand different versions of the same characters and make you like them all ;)

Words cannot express my love for Bryan Cranston. This man's talent is beyond words.

I cannot imagine how they are going to surpass last season, but I'll be tuning in each week to watch them do just that!

Ugh. Not available to me. This article teased me more than the video :(

Anyways... Breaking Bad > Everything else.

Hey, thanks! I can't see the teaser because of where I am, making this thread absolutely useless. No offense to TV.com, of course.

Please, please, please don't link videos directly to AMC, they can't be viewed outside the US. 95% of the sites do that and the fans outside the US always gotta search the internet for some bright folks who uploaded the video on some other platform or beg for it every time...

Still waiting to watch Season 4, but the DVD is not out till next month! I wish they'd release the dvd's a little further in advance of the upcoming season, so I don't have to rush through all of Season 4 so fast in order to be ready for Season 5!

Wait, Season 6? I thought Season 5 was just being split into two parts? WHO HAS LIED TO ME????

Noone, you're right. But as the 2nd half will be aired 2013 (they will take a 4 month break with filming) you can call it a new season.

but every week you keep telling us Game of Thrones is the best.

How could you lie to us?How could you ?

You have to understand this with Tim... If it's in the top 5 or so, it's "The Best". Though I will say, I'm pretty much with him on a lot of things. By that I mean, and I take this from his reviews and absolutely nothing more or less, within his top 5 at least somewhere are the shows "Breaking Bad", "Game of Thrones", and "Fringe" and frankly, I would have no problem calling any one of them "The Best" at different points in time. But, for overarching FREAKING AWESOME, "Breaking Bad" just blows up (hahaha, get it? Meth lab? Blow up? Shut up, I'm funny!!), and I (and I think Tim, too) would put it squarely in the number 1 spot.

Yes. Breaking Bad is in fact the best show on TV (closely followed by Fringe, of course), and even though this video doesn't really reveal anything, it does help me remember just how excited I am to see the series returning this year. Especially since, even though they split it up into two parts, I still feel like this is basically the start of Breaking Bad's final chapter, and should be a hell of a ride. I really needed this reminder of how excited I really am about this season, because of how much Fringe has taken the spotlight recently. :P

Haha exactly. Breaking Bad is just the best thing that has been on television ever. Period. It's the only show that has an exponential (!) growth of awesomeness to the seasons.

My personal Top5 events on TV:

5.) BB Season 1

4.) BB Season 2

3.) BB Season 3

2.) BB Season 4

1.) BB Season 5 (soon!!!!)

I can't wait to find out what will happen next. I'm sure it will be completely crazy in an unexpected way and an emotional rollercoaster ride in the last part of the season.

The Shield did that until season 5 which I just didn't think was as good as 4...

As for Breaking Bad, I don't agree. I still think 3 is superior to 4...why? Season 3 built to two crescendos and Season 4 only built to one.

One Minute and then Half/Full Measures were both as good as the Season 4 finale only that season had TWO of them.

Almost agree, except for the fact that season 4 was more artful. I still rate season 1 as one of the greatest things ever, though. It had about 4 stunning episodes.

My excitement knows NO BOUNDS!!!!!! This show IS the best thing on TV right now. I'm not with Tim on this one. This is not an opinion. This is a FACT. Off to the left: Zombie Gus Fring meets with Heisenberg to discuss Don Draper's new ad about Rick Grimes's new Meth, a sample of which he has stolen, and his plan for how he can use that to destabilize the group so that Daryl takes over, while Peggy knows a doctor who can cure Walt's cancer. (A little AMC fun for you there.)

I'm really really excited, but in my opinion breaking bad is in the top ten (maybe even top five) of my favorite currently running shows but definatly not my favorite. Game of Thrones would probably be number one for me right now, with the Legend of Korra as number two. Breaking Bad would definatly be up there though.

I cannot wait! I mean just any news of the show gets me all excited! Bryan looked so excited in that video which means it must be good. Hell, its Vince Gillgian, It's going to be good! This show cannot premiere fast enough, nothing on this planet gets me more excited than Breaking Bad. It is just so awesome!

Uhmmm I have to say Homeland, GoT and Fringe are better than Breaking Bad. Breaking is the best summer show for sure though.

"Opinion: Breaking Bad is the best show on TV right now."

RING-A-DING-DING!

YES super excited for Season 5 here's hoping Season 5A starts no later than August and Season 5B starts Jan (at least I hope I don't have to wait until next summer, it's too good!)

Right now I'd say Breaking Bad's only competition for "Best Show on TV Right Now" is GoT. As it was Season 1 of GoT was better than Season 1 of BB, but season 3 and 4 of BB were so great, well, I'll just say while GoT is close it's not there yet. Perhaps it will get there, until then they're lucky Walter White doesn't throw HIS hat in the ring for the Iron Throne of Westeros or - dragons, dire wolves, wildfire and shadow babies be damned - they'd all be in trouble...Walter White is straight badass...

...oh...now I'm thinking of Jesse Pinkman as had of the King...

Season 1 of BB doesn't get enough love for how incredible it was. To me it never got better than that, only busier and more "male demo"

1. Fringe.

2. Breaking Bad.

3. Game of Thrones.

I know I'm biased, but c'mon. Fringe is at the very least in the conversation.

Fringe is too hit and miss, usually I find the "Monster of the Week" episodes really weak, and there are too many dropped story lines.

Fringe would make my top 5...but it's not 1 or 2. It's clear that it was coasting early on. It's only been very recently that they've tried to map things out and tie things together.
