Camelot, a New SyFy Original Movie, the MTV Movie Awards, and Teen Wolf

What to watch on Friday, June 3.

There's a fly in my soup.

Happy Friday to you and yours and theirs and everyone's! We've defeated the dastardly four-day week, and now we're ready to wrestle this weekend to the ground! But first, some TV.

8pm, NBC
Friday Night Lights
Tonight Eric frets that he's lost control of his increasingly difficult Lions, plus Tami anguishes over whether to intervene when she suspects a student is having problems at home. Plus, I will continue to have the horrible feeling that we don't have very many episodes left of this thing! I am sad already!

9pm, ABC
Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution
Tonight British charmer Jamie Oliver runs into trouble when he gets himself banned from serving food at West Adams Prep School. But will his emotional plea to the kids' parents convince them to let him cook for them? Anything could happen!

10pm, Starz
Camelot
This show is really trying its hardest, you guys. YOU try and be a medieval show while Game of Thrones is on. It's not easy! But you know, that's life. Life isn't easy. Anyway, tonight the king learns of an impending attack, plus Merlin finds himself falling victim to Morgan's seductive powers.

8pm, CBS
Flashpoint
When a gunman suspects that a restaurant owner is actually a terrorist planning an attack, he takes the entire restaurant hostage. I don't mean to judge, but it doesn't seem like a great plan to me. That's just my opinion, though.

What to watch on Saturday, June 4.

We're here to fight the bad guys.

ORIGINAL MOVIE, 9pm, Syfy
Red Faction: Origins
If you like Syfy Original films that are based on video games and star cast members from Battlestar Galactica and/or T2: Judgment Day, then Red Faction: Origins is right up your alley! This stirring film tells the tale of a family trying to survive a clash between Martian forces and their would-be oppressors from Earth.

9pm, CNBC
The Suze Orman Show
Tonight Suze wants to know: Are you a saver or a spender? And while you're answering that question, she'll make roughly 90 different facial expressions that bear no relationship to what you're saying. But in a charming way!

8pm, TLC
Niecy Nash's Wedding Bash
Wait, I thought Niecy Nash was married to a preacher or something? Oh well, better luck next time, Niecy. Oh wait, I mean better luck THIS time! Here's a two-hour documentary following Ms. Nash as she plans her impending nuptials to NEW fiance Jay Tucker.

What to watch on Sunday, June 5.

Off to da country club...

9pm, HBO
Game of Thrones
Things just never get easier for these people. Tonight Arya clashes with the Lannister guards when Ned is captured, plus the Stark brood declares war on the Lannisters. Also, Daenerys (a.k.a. the BEST character) starts to regret her power-hungry ways after the Dothraki attack a peaceful village.

9pm, MTV
MTV Movie Awards
As the very excellent host of an otherwise pointless exercise, Jason Sudeikis will hopefully provide some genuine highlights in what is an certain to be a Cameron Diaz-featuring affair. Plus, Lupe Fiasco and Trey Songz are slated to perform, so the show has that going for it!

SERIES PREMIERE, 11pm, MTV
Teen Wolf
Tonight premieres the long-rumored, little respected horror reboot of the Teen Wolf franchise starring Jacob Black also-ran Tyler Posey. Like you're NOT gonna watch.

SEASON 2 PREMIERE, 10pm, A&E;
The Glades
Tonight A&E;'s surprise hit procedural returns to find blonde charmer Jim struggling to solve the murder of a mobster's daughter before an outright mob war erupts.

10pm, USA
In Plain Sight
Hey Mary! Tonight Mary finds herself reluctantly teaming up with a con artist in order to snare an even bigger villain. Oh Mary, g'on, get 'im, girl.

SPECIAL, 9pm, Animal Planet
Man-Eating Super Snake
I'm a sucker for a great title, and THIS is that. But also, this looks like a nightmare? It's a full hour dedicated to the horrifying proliferation of the African rock python in Florida. That said, this sort of thing seems pretty typical for Florida, you know? As far as Florida nightmares go, it probably doesn't even make the top ten.
