Television viewers, brace yourselves: get ready for more Carson Daly, more America's Got Talent, and more Last Comic Standing. In separate announcements, NBC has signed deals to bring back all three to its lineup.
Daly, former host of TRL at MTV and former squeeze for both Jennifer Love Hewitt and Tara Reid, will stay at his post as host of Last Call With Carson Daly. The late-night talk show currently follows Late Night with Conan O'Brien on the peacock, and is in its fifth season.
NBC has inked Daly to a two-year extension, and announced that he will once again host NBC's New Year's Eve special, cleverly titled NBC's New Years Eve with Carson Daly.
On the reality front, Last Comic Standing and America's Got Talent will be back next summer for their sixth and third seasons, respectively.
Last Comic Standing sees amateur yuksters compete against each other for fame, cash, and a production deal with NBC. America's Got Talent is an update on The Gong Show, with variety acts performing before celebrity judges. The show has also performed well above expectations for the network, averaging 12.1 million viewers.

Does anyone realise this show has no compition. Who stays up that late?
Carson is horrible. Conan is sooooooooooooo much funnier. He must have struck a deal with the devil or something. Talent isn't talented. LCS is ok, but I don't really watch it. Who actually watches tv anymore. I just wait for the DVDs...
I think they mean "sixth and third, respectively"
For me this falls under if you can't say anything nice, then keep your mouth shut.
Great shows and deserved to be renewed!
