Cast updates: Mork joins SVU's 200th ep

For Law & Order: SVU's 200th episode, NBC is doing something special: It's bringing in Patch Adams.

Robin Williams has signed on to guest star as an anti-authoritarian engineer on the Peacock's drama on April 29. After the character is on the bad end of a tragic accident, the little engineer that could decides to make the public aware that following the rules isn't always the best thing.

For those who prefer their guest stars cuter and less hairy, behold: Buffy vet Michelle Trachtenberg will appear on CW teen sudser Gossip Girl for a multiple-episode arc, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Trachtenberg will play Georgina Sparks, a lass fresh out of rehab who causes havoc in Serena's life.

That '70s Show's Kurtwood Smith will keep up his nightmare-dad persona as the father in Worst Week, a CBS pilot based on the BBC show The Worst Week of My Life. The show follows a young man who gets stuck on vacation with his fiancée and her parents.

Elsewhere, Sex and the City hunk John Corbett has joined Showtime's United States of Tara. He'll be the loving hubby to lead Tara, played by Toni Collette, in the Diablo Cody-penned comedy.

With Williams it has always been hit or miss. I wonder which it will be here.

To Tim Surette: As an author, I find it hard to believe that you don't know the past tense of the verb "to cast" is "cast", not "casted." I would hope that even Internet writers would strive to be grammatically correct and would want to teach by example.

Seriously? First option is Mischa Barton, the second one is Trachtenberg? Well, anyway, the last one is hot too and for that show it's barely interesting if you add something to the story, just make sure you look hot.

Great another chance for Robin to show off his dramatic side. Don't get me wrong in small doses spread out over a few days he's funny. But when he goes full on spastic, I'm like "that's enough of that!" and switch to another program. Be the "Night Listener" or the "Final Cut", "One Hour Photo", or "Insomnia" Robin and not Mork from Ork!
