There's been a lot of hubbub on the Web over the status of Kristen Bell's contract with Heroes. The former Veronica Mars star joined the NBC show last season as the electric Elle after reportedly turning down a role on Lost (which went to the fabulous Rebecca Mader).
But because she hasn't signed on for season three of Heroes, many sites stirred the rumor pot by trumpeting the fact that she isn't yet under contract with the show and could bail on Hayden Panettiere and company.
Bell spoke with TVGuide.com to put any worry to rest.
"I've had an unbelievable experience thus far and they seem to like me and want to keep me onboard, so we're going to keep that ball rolling for as long as we can," said Bell. "I think we fell in love. Just try and separate us!"
Bell's schedule will allow for a return to Heroes as well. She'll be off shooting Disney's When in Rome for the next few months, but will return in plenty of time to shoot season three. So there.
Jamie Lynn Spears (Zoey 101)) is expanding more than just her pregnant belly--she's also plumping up her acting portfolio. The younger sister of Britney Spears will appear as a guest star on the upcoming back-to-high-school comedy Miss Guided and play a troubled teen in the show's second episode, according to People.
Also appearing in that episode will be Ashton Kutcher, who will play a substitute teacher. Kutcher is one of the producers of the comedy.
Over on NBC's Medium, Rosanna Arquette, older sister of star Patricia Arquette, will make a guest appearance on the April 7 episode of the spooky drama, says The Associated Press. The AP says Rosanna will play "a beautiful calculating 'cougar' who enjoys the challenges of bedding younger men."
Now that's scary!

If Anyone Has seen the pilot that rob thomas made for the new series of veronica mars that never got picked up - they'll realize that even though she's good on heroes, Veronica Mars :FBI would have been an awesome series just from the 4 minutes made.
glad she turned down the role on Lost... Heroes and K.Bell were made for each other... and i don't mean that in a nice way...

All I can say is I'm glad she turned down the role of Charlotte on Lost, as she would've been horribly unsuitable for it. I can't imagine anyone other than the remarkable Rebecca Mader in that role now. Sorry to say, but Bell would've stuck out like a sore thumb amongst the other 3 new regulars (Jeff Fahey, Ken Leung, JEREMY DAVIES) on Lost.

I was so hoping Elle was finished on Heroes. She ruined the show for me.
I like Heroes and all, but I sure as hell hope she doesn't become a series regular. She deserves to once again have her own series and/or some form of continuation of Veronica Mars.

I was a tad freaked out when, ugghh, some clips of her character hit the internet and didn't look too.. hopeful, for her return. But I'm so glad she's having fun and wants to come back (which is the most important thing). At this stage I'd say it would be another moronic move by Tim Kring if they DIDN'T renew Kristen's contract for season 3. Elle Bishop has near limitness potential for storylines. I mean, I may be a bit bias as a huge fan of hers, but she was the saving grace of a lackluster second season (and David Anders helped, too). But yeah, get Kristen Bell back for season 3, I need her on weekly TV with no Veronica Mars on!

Still no word on how many episodes KB will be in for season 3... I'm sure Kristen will continue to be associated with Heroes in some capacity, just not sure how long or how often she will get screen time. That's the real mystery to be solved here... where's Veronica Mars when you need her...?

Maybe it's because I was a huge Veronica Mars nerd, but adding KB to Heroes was an awesome idea. She fits right in with the cast, and I hope she becomes a full on regular (that doesn't die).

Well, I'm glad the KB articles are still rumored. :? I guess we'll have to wait it out to see if the writers want her on there. At least her schedule allows her to film Heroes if needed. :D
