CBS Announces Fall 2015 Premiere Dates for Supergirl, Hawaii Five-0, The Good Wife, and More

Summer hasn't even officially begun, but it's already time to start planning your fall viewing schedules. CBS is first out of the gate this year in terms of networks announcing premiere dates for fall programming, and once again, thanks to the addition of Thursday Night Football to the network's lineup, we're looking at a few weeks' worth of rollouts.

The fall season officially kicks off (that's a technical term for those unfamiliar with football) on Thursday, September 17 at 8:25pm when the Denver Broncos take on the Kansas City Chiefs, but pre-game programming will begin at 7:30pm. Everything else a.k.a. the good stuff, doesn't debut until the following week, when on Monday, September 21, the new season of The Big Bang Theory officially launches the network's scripted programming slate at 8pm, followed by the new family comedy Life in Pieces at 8:30pm. The new seasons of Scorpion and NCIS: Los Angeles then follow at 9pm and 10pm, respectively. And here's where it gets tricky, because CBS's brand new series Supergirl launches itself into your TV sets behind an all-new episode of The Big Bang Theory on Monday, October 26 at 8:30pm, before moving to its regular timeslot of Mondays at 8pm on Monday, November 2.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs and the rest of the NCIS team still anchor the network's Tuesday night lineup. Season 13 premieres Tuesday, September 22 at 8pm. Season 2 of NCIS: New Orleans airs at 9pm and leads into the the series premiere of the new drama Limitless, with a special appearance by Bradley Cooper, at 10pm.

The 90-minute Season 31 premiere of Survivor will debut Wednesday, September 23, followed by the 90-minute season finale of the summer reality show Big Brother at 9:30pm. Starting the following week on Wednesday, September 30, Season 11 of Criminal Minds will take over the 9pm slot, followed by the new medical drama Code Black at 10pm.

Thursdays will be reserved for football until November 5, when The Big Bang Theory returns to Thursday nights at 8pm. The comedy Life in Pieces will also make the move and hope to retain the long-running comedy's audience at 8:30pm. Meanwhile, the third season of Mom premieres at 9pm and leads into the new Maggie Lawson/Jane Lynch comedy Angel From Hell at 9:30pm. Season 4 of Elementary, now with more John Noble, will then debut at 10pm.

Season 27 of The Amazing Race kicks off the network's Friday night programming on Friday, September 25 at 8pm, followed by Hawaii Five-0 at 9pm and Blue Bloods at 10pm.

On Sunday, September 27, a 90-minute edition of 60 Minutes (insert mindblown emoji here) will lead into the two-hour series finale of CSI at 9pm. The new seasons of Madam Secretary, The Good Wife, and CSI: Cyber will debut the following week on Sunday, October 4 beginning at 8pm.

I really wish you would mention that the times listed are eastern. I'm in central, and just missed the Good Wife premiere.

My favorite show for years has been NCIS. Some of the actors have come and gone and you adjust. I am sorry to say that I have not been able to adjust to Wickersham. I bet she is a wonderful person, but she or possibly the way the part was written have not been a good fit. I have tried to watch, but I find it very distressing. Sounds silly but I do not watch the show regularly any longer. I still hope that another change comes to that part before the show dies. Hopefully a better casting call could save the show for me and I bet I am not the only fan who feels this way. Please consider a change before the show completes its nice long run. I hope she will find somewhere else that suits her personality and talent much better than NCIS.

I just hope TBBT season 9 will be better than season 8.
I don't recall any memorable episodes from last season.

Death of Mrs. Wolovitz.

Yeah but even that was not a memorable episode. This whole season was dull and dumb and the only real nerd in the big bang is Emy, the others play nerd and it is starting to show.
Somehow they make it look more and more like 'Friends'. I recently rewatched a couple of season of friends because I was sick, turns out that most of the jokes on big bang are recycled shit.
Still I love the show, one of my favorites out there, but it was a bit of a let down to watch a 10 year old show do the exact same jokes.

I agree. Seaso 8 was boring and that is why, shows should never get 3 season renewals. They knew they are safe till 10th season,so they just went completely lazy.
Death of Mrs. Wolovitz was such a boring episode. I can only recall bits and pieces that were funny in some episodes, but overall episodes and season itself lacked and were boring to watch.

Like Person of Interest and Mike & Molly, 2 Broke Girls is on deck for midseason. It will return for a 5th season!

I'm interested to see if CBS are brave enough / can react quick enough to get the Supergirl pilot re-done to lose the huge story holes and character inconsistances.

It bugs me they are not pairing Big Bang Theory and Supergirl together on a regular basis - even if they have to put another comedy in between, like Angel from Hell. It's a no-brainer.

Monday for Supergirl, interesting. Little weird setup for the 26th hour long shows sandwich between half hour comedies.

Can't wait for CBS' Thursday comedy block. Might actually watch it. Though no 2 Broke Girls. :( Need me Beth Behrs.

Good to see how little of CBS I watch. Interested in Limitless and Supergirl. I like Mom. I tolerate the Big Bang Theory. I occasionally will watch Criminal minds and the NCIS's but I don't actually like them and have no problem skipping weeks at a time.
