CBS Class-es up the joint

Class is in session for a little while longer.

CBS has extended the life of the freshman comedy by four more episodes. The show has recieved solid but unspectacular ratings so far this season, averaging 9 million viewers a week.

Class started out soft when it premiered on September 18, then improved when the net switched its time slot. Originally, How I Met Your Mother aired Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m., following Class--now, those spots are reversed.

CBS hasn't been shy about taking action with its new fall shows. The net gave a full season to Jericho after four episodes and pulled the heist drama Smith after just three.

The CW has ordered a script from American Dreams creator Jonathan Prince. Titled Thirteen Songs, the drama will revolve around an all-girl rock band in their late teens/early 20s. The CW's target demographic is women 18-34.

I hope the network extends The Class and How I Met Your Mother to full seasons. They pair up well together as comic relief after working all day on Monday.

The Class is hilarious and Jericho is one of the most compelling shows this season! I can't understand how people dislike either one. The way people enteract on The Class just cracks me up. And Jericho has set a perfect pace so far....

I really wonder why people think The Class is funny. I mean I watched the first 4 episodes of the show and had maybe one or two tiny laughs, that's why I decided to stop watching...

I was sooooo excited about Jericho. This show really bit the big one. Can not believe they renewed it. Terrible writing, sucky characters, very disapointing.

The CW axed Runaway to bring on a show that's a rip off of the Spice Girls?

Makes sense to me!
