CBS is gonna need a bigger boat.
The network has picked up freshman drama Shark, which stars James Woods as sassy, fast-talking lawyer Sebastian Stark, for a full season. Sharkis the highest-rated new drama of the season.
Shark averages 14.36 million total weekly viewers and a 5.3 rating/13 share in adults. The show airs Thursday nights at 10 p.m. opposite ER and Six Degrees, and costars former Star Trek babe Jeri Ryan.
CBS already picked up nuclear drama Jericho, which averages a solid 11 million viewers per week. After three airings, the network removed from the schedule the Ray Liotta crime thriller Smith, which dipped in the ratings after its premiere.

Great show.If you can, check out Wood's film 'Cop'.Brutal but good.
shark is by far the best show of all time
I'm absolutely disgusted at the fact that this show has been picked up. CBS has become nothing but a crime show network and when something original like Smith (which I admit is deeply flawed but original nonetheless) crops up, certain conservative executives just put pressure on the others to have it cancelled in exchange fore more typical and predictable crime fighting shows. Even something as great as CSI isn't holding my interest anymore as I feel like I've seen it all before.
sweet
I love the show...am so glad they ordered the full season.
Looks awesome
HATE IT..it will never pull me away from ER on NBC!
Great! I really liked it, it kinda reminds me of house!
The news is a little bit late. I wasn't really surprised by CBS decision, but I'm glad they did it!
