Two and A Half Men star Charlie Sheen has hit back at wife Denise Richards' salacious allegations contained in the restraining order she filed Friday. In the filing, the actor's estranged wife said she feared for her safety and that of the couple's daughters, and that Sheen had been addicted to hookers, drugs, gambling, and Internet pornography.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sheen said, "It is a reaction to a failed marriage, a reaction to some twisted desire, real or imagined, to hurt, to punish, to discredit, to completely torpedo, to undermine my perception as a responsible father...a guy who would give his life for his children."
Sheen went on to say that the allegations are completley untrue and fabricated by Richards and her attorney.
"[Denise is] the only one entirely culpable for putting these radical allegations out for public consumption...my children included. And I find that as unacceptable as anything I've ever encountered."
Denise Richards filed the restraining order Friday. The filing contains 12 pages of lurid allegations that, if true, could have a negative impact on Sheen's career.
Richards says that Sheen frequented Internet porn sites, including gay porn sites featuring young men who, according to the filing, "did not look like adults." She alleges she found on Sheen's computer other pornographic Web images featuring "young girls who looked underage, with pigtails [and] braces" performing sex acts. When Richards approached the actor about these images, she alleged he said he "would not give up his habits and that [she] would have to deal with it."
Richards also details Sheen's use of prostitutes during their marriage. When Richards asked him about prostitutes, the actor admitted to visiting them "only during the time we were separated." When Richards asked to see the results of Sheen's HIV test, he called her a "prude" and told her "go f**k yourself."
The filing also says that Sheen lost at least $100,000 on Internet gambling sites and that Sheen seemed addicted to gambling. When Richards, pregnant with their second child, called out to Sheen after she had noticed abnormal bleeding, he told her to wait until a basketball game he had placed bets on was over.
Richards cites multiple instances of various other aberrant behaviors involving paranoia about 9/11, the use of prescription drugs under false pretenses, irrational fear of vaccinations, and anger at the fact that Richards was pregnant with girls. Richards also alleges that Sheen trolled the Web looking for sex partners while using his penis as his onscreen icon.
In the filing, Richards makes multiple mentions of Sheen threatening her with bodily harm if she revealed any of the details in his private life. At one time, Sheen allegedly broke his hand after punching the headboard of their bed in anger. The actor also allegedly insinuated he would kill her by saying to Richards "you won't lay your head down at night." Later, Richards alleges Sheen outright said he would have her killed.
Richards' most recent acting role was on the ironically named series Sex, Love, and Secrets.
In a statement responding to the allegations, Sheen said, "This is a most obvious immature and transparent smear campaign designed to hurt, embarrass and ultimately extort me."
Two and A Half Men is TV's number one sitcom. It remains to be seen if audiences will still want to see "bad boy" Sheen raise kids after these allegations.
Whatever the outcome, this case serves as a public reminder that no matter how much damage control PR teams can come up with, Hollywood isn't a healthy place to live.
What the hell is the point in going public with these things???!!! She wants custody over the children, but she doesnt have to reveal a lot of weird information from their personal life (Which I believe 90 % is total BS)... I didnt mind Denise Richards before, but these allegations is idiotic to be made public....

Sounds like sour grapes on Richards part. Charlie Sheen has been the poster boy for 101 ways to get in trouble since the 1980's. Drugs, gambling, women & hard livin' YES. Kiddie Porn NO. That is a low blow!! She thought she was going to change him. Now she's bitter because she didn't. Richards needs to get a life. Lord knows she doesn't have an acting career!

I know for a fact that attorneys who are laying down a foundation for a damage lawsuit often use restraining orders as a first step to achieve those ends. Sheen is a millionaire and the attorneys want a piece of it. <br />

A successful actor like Sheen could not maintain a career as he has under any circumstances Richard's claims. It was clearly a hit piece legal document designed to ruin Sheen, for his involvement with 9/11 Truth Movement. Political motivations are behind the restraining order, and the timing is all too suspicious as to why she waited all that time under those dire circumstances to file one. <br />
