Charlie Sheen is Not a Morning Show Person (VIDEO)

Sure, one could argue that Charlie Sheen has flown off the proverbial "deep end" in the proverbial "ego-boosted F-18 multi-role fighter aircraft." But look at his attitude about the whole situation. The guy is walking on freaking sunshine! Life may have given Charlie rock-bottom, but dammit, Charlie is gonna take that rock, put it in a pipe, and fire up a batch of rock-bottom-ade! His Two and a Half Men-imploding Crazy Tour made a stop at the morning shows today, and the quotable hits kept coming. Sheen's enemies remain Alcoholics Anonymous ("charlatans"), CBS (who owes him a foot-licking) and Chuck Lorre ("dictatorial," "lazy"). The thing he claims to be fighting for is his "family" (though he says he fell into drugs and porn star harems because raising kids at age 45 bored him).

Some highlights:

On The Today Show...

... "I did [drugs and alcohol] because they work."

... "I don't think people are ready for the message I'm delivering with a sense of violent love."

... "Defeat is not an option. They picked a fight with a warlock."

... "[Overdosing]'s for amateurs. I've always had a plan, I've always executed it perfectly. Sometimes I overshoot the mark, whatever."

... On Alcohlics Anonymous: "[AA's path] was written for normal people. People that aren't special. People that don't have tiger blood and adonis DNA."

... On his employability: "Guys. IMDb, right there, 62 movies and a ton of success. I mean come on, bro, I won Best Picture at 20, and I wasn't even trying. I wasn't even warm."

... On his terms for returning to Two and a Half Men: "It's $3 mil an episode. Take it or leave it."

... On whether he owes CBS an apology: "They owe me a big one. Publicly. While licking my feet."

On Good Morning America...

... On whether or not he's bi-polar: "I'm bi-winning."

"The last time I took drugs I probably took more than anybody could survive. I was banging 7-gram rocks and finishing them. Because that's how I roll. I was one-speed. I have one gear: Go."

... On sobriety: "What I'm harnessing now is absolute focus. It's exciting. It's exciting. I've come back from a place. People can try to put labels on it, call it 'boring' or 'stupid.' And that's fine. But for me, I'm just answering to a higher calling."

... On relapse: "Not going to. Period. The end. I blinked and I cured my brain. Can't is the cancer of happen. Can't is the cancer of happen."

... On the amount of partying he does: "It was epic. The run I was on made Sinatra, Flynn, Jagger, Richards, all of them looked like droopy-eyed, useless children."

... On any guilt he might feel over his lifestyle: "I exposed people to magic. I exposed them to something they're never otherwise going to see in their boring, useless lives. They'll live with that memory for the rest of their lives."

... On a woman at one of his parties who feared she might OD: "What's that got to do with me?

It's really sad that he can't go through life sober. I had a friend that was really bright at one point and then started to live life through drugs. When someone goes through a period like this, they have no moments of sobriety and can't even realize the random stuff that comes out of their mouth. Even when they get help, they are never the same.On a different note:I think the excerpts here are a bit out of context. His interview, even though misguided, is still more sober than his previous ones and more coherent than the quotes above. What does stand out is that Sheen claims that missing practice does not cost anyone money. Tell that to the crew. There are a lot of people that work during "practice" and someone needs to pay them. If I have to be on set and the main actor is not there, that means I woke up at 5 am to do nothing. We all take pride in our work and for the lead to just ignore the crew is insulting. I don't care if he is on a power trip because of his previous success, he should really learn the work that people are putting in to make the show.moreless

He stopped being funny several seasons ago anyway. He looks in pain and very bloated. Maybe it's time for "One & a Half Men".

  • opcutthefat

Charlie is not the only one with issues ... not sure on the exact percentage % (number) but everyone around the world (it includes all of america too ) have issues .. the number is high ... and it starts with the rich and trickles down to the poor.. who is at fault .. YOU R>>> leave the brother alone .. help him dont destroy him.. on that note .. help us all dont destroy us based on greed and vice >>> HOT SHOTS !!!!!

wish we all had that type of money >>>> wa wa wa Get ' Em

  • Bandcrash

this guy is an *** holee.. i mean how could they stand him so many years this guy is a first cl*** idiot .. anyway it doesnt matter i wouldn\'t pay him anything more, i actually would make him pay the cast and crew\'s money that he made them lose. besize two and a half man wasn\'t that great this season.. so there you go charlie.. F... you from Chile, now you are a global *** hole

  • praeda

Are we sure this isn't a Joaquin Phoenix type thing? How could anyone really be so....... this?

  • mike-seo

There is no reason to ask $3m per episode.

  • hakone1

Enough! I don't want to read about him anymore.

  • Lubbeelou

He is a complete nutcase, I don't care whether he wants to take drugs or drink but to do that in the public eye, when people in the spotlight are supposed to be role models for everyone who watches. Disgusting.

  • Boozwaa

skidoo, with that logic, it's none of our business what any one does then. So why criticize any of us who comment on Sheen. As long as we deliver in our lives. Of course we have the right to be concern. What if he drives when he is drunk or high and kills someone else. Or if he decides to take his own life along with his kids? But of course, as long as he delivers in his art, then who cares, leave him alone. Right?

  • AprilFox

I kind of is our business, his little children are a risk, if you think they're not your wrong, he said in an interview "he was bored being a father, so he parties" nice, real nice. Those little boys (and daughters, thank God they are far away from him) are in harms way. Those "Goddesses" should also be tested for drug use. Martin Sheen should step in and save the babies.

  • yuriZhivago

    What a pathetic arrogant ass!

  • skidoo369

problem is people don't know how to divide artists' private life and their job. that is non of our business as long as they deliver. Take Picasso, Jimmy Hendrix etc... most artists have taken drugs. who cares? it's none of our business. we reached a point where we really take all that too seriously and feel we have the right to 'control' the artists we love and the way they behave. but the problem is that if they're who they are is because they live differently than the rest of us.

  • Togana

Now why can't he handle his drug use with class and dignity like Robert Downey Jr. Did. Charlie's overpaid as far as I'm concerned. He's not even the funniest character on Two in a Half men. But oh well.

  • WilliamLansbe

Dear Charlie, I wish you luck with every thing, and remember even though the rest of the world hates you, and thinks your a worthless addict with dilusions of grandure, i remember how good you are as an actor and i will always love you for it....p.s., i need a job.....and everyone else hates you....

  • ChichipioWilson

So, kids, you say you want to try some drugs? Take a look at Charlie… It's not a joke, drugs WILL mess you up. You might rebound a few times but once you reach a certain point, there's no return. Sadly, I think Charlie left that point behind a few miles ago.

  • Dakotagirl823

Charlie Sheen doesn't need to star in a sitcom-his life (pathetic as it is) is turning into one. While I find his antics amusing, he's clearly walking down the path of no return. He is an embarrassment to his family and children but it's clear that he only cares about himself. Sadly, I fear the end is near for Charlie.

  • ungamarunga

...somebody please send him back to rehab or some place where he can get some help... he's this close to self destruction! (even though it's entertaining for now he's clearly gone over the edge)

  • Starprincess13

On one hand, I want his antics to stop because I want the show to continue with him in it but o the other hand, I'm finding this whole thing really amusing.

  • tvfanboy

Awesome :-) Clearly drug-addled, crazy MoFo. I refuse to feel sorry for him. This is completely self induced insanity. He needs help badly but there are others way down on the socioeconomic ladder that will never get the mental health support that he could pay for a thousand time over. Privilege brings responsiblity which this man has not learned. So for my part I will continue to enjoy the Sheen Meltdown show. Maybe someone will pay $3M an episode for that LOL.

  • AnoukvdZee

The only one not thinking he's pathetic, is Charlie Sheen himself. I hope for his sake he never finds out, because I don't think that man can recover from such a shock.

  • DavidSuiters

I enjoy charley sheen and believe he should get a chance to prove to the public that he is making the change. I am behind him all the way I was also on that road of destruction and i am doing on my own. And to the show i feel they need to be behind on this ,because they want him to make them money but when the chips are down they seem to turn there back on him. In my eyes that is unfair . In another note i have been watching the show ever since it began we are all human and we all make mistakes give him a chance , because you would like the same treatment.. David suiters of Pennsville New Jersey

  • Boozwaa

He is a classic example of an addict. Blames everyone but him self, denies he has a problem, thinks he is invincible and going out trying to convince the world he is fine. I think the show can survive without him. I always thought Alan was the funnier one. If they also keep the ex wife's new husband and give Berta a few more one liners, it'll be fine.

  • affeafffe

thumps up Charlie, I like your statements

  • CandiceVasque

On his interview with the goddesses, does anyone notice the 1 goddesses mouth when she talks; it sits to one side when she speaks. It's an obvious sign of cocaine use. In regards to his passing his urine test... please, he makes millions per show, I'm sure someone is waiting to urine for him for some money. He's high as a kite when he interviews. The only one where he seemed somewhat straight was the Piers Morgan interview. Its just sad; such a good actor and he he's losing it over drugs and alcohol.

  • headclub

Sheen looks really healthy.... like an F-18. BOOM.

  • Avenger687

Charlie Sheen is a multi-millionaire who doesn't give a crap what people think and just lives to have fun. He drinks, does drugs, has sex with pornstars. Please explain to me how that is hitting rock bottom?!!? He may be crazy(ok, he definately is) but he knows how to have fun.

  • AprilFox

Crazy Charlie is looking like insane Charlie Manson. Mel Gibson and Charlie Sheen belong to the same club. I feel so bad for the children pieces of garbage like that don't deserve them. Self-involved, over-paid, over-rated, egotisical trash.

  • dariana183

Okay, I think we all agree that someone should admit Charlie to the nut house, but there is also talk of the show going on without him, I have no idea how they could without his character as he is a huge part of the show unless they recast the roll, have no idea who would fit into the roll, without ruining the show

  • IyazIyax

i think we should see this from his eyes ROCK on Charlie CBS say SORRY

  • masterx104

im pretty sure he reached a point where his permanently high ... i think some call it insanity :)

  • bigtumtums76

I agree with you guys on Charlie totally gone high and mad on this. To demand such price amidst realistic economic down is insane. That is shameful. guayo_slayer has a good idea on putting an end to it... yes, I hope they do just that.

  • mermayd

oh my God he's clearly mad. it's wrong of the media to keep interviewing him. it;s like when people used to pay to go to the insane asylum and laugh at the crazy people. I am going to stop reading stories about this.

  • Taccado

“It’s $3 mil an episode. Take it or leave it.”?? And the producers say: "We wouldn't hire him even if it was for free". Quite a dilemma, isn't it? What I'm wondering about is that he claims to be sober and his tests show that he is sober. So what's his excuse for acting like an ass? If he did drugs at least they would explain his erratic behaviour. But since he is still saying stupid s**t while sober, that must mean there is something wrong with his head. And that is less impressive.

  • LongTallSallie

This "man" is obviously high as a kite. So his piss test came back clean...so what? That is not an in depth test. What a useless piece of crap he turned out to be. I'll bet his daddy is wishing he had used a condom.

  • guayo_slayer

wow the show is done.... they should do a series finale pisode where Charlie dies and Allan ges everything that way Sheen is no needed

  • baghban

pretty funny. he seems high though

  • shadowysea07

lol sure he's clean now riiiiight. he did an interview and he was talking so fast not to mention interupting alot so obviously he's still on drugs. shame the guy had to ruin tons of peoples lives just so he could indulge in his selfish life style. hopefully all the people that lost their jobs can find new ones soon.

  • SokkaAppa

i think its time to stop paying attention to this guy he's just a bad human being

  • TudorRose

Hey Sheen dream on. Your a greedy douche who needs a wake-up call big time.

  • apjccjqa

"they can find the most comfortable chair in their small house and sit back and enjoy the show..."at least he is very respectful to his fans who made him so popular, in addition to of course everyone else he trashed in all these interviews. Though I do like his new catch phrase "winning!"...

  • sandbur

Hay Charlie; There is no Adonis, ergo, there is no Adonis DNA. Tigers pretty much have one-track DNA, ergo...you're f@#$ed. And not literally, pal...

  • DeborahWood1
