Chuck has been renewed! V has been renewed!
There had been murmurs that both shows would be back next season, but nothing was official until yesterday. Both are assumed to get 13-episode orders.
Chuck will return for Season 4 after performing as NBC's steadiest Monday-night show. The ratings still aren't what they should be, but NBC saw fit to bring the show back anyway.
V had a wacky season, going on an extended break after its first four episodes and returning in the slot behind Lost. Despite a heavy promotional push, the ratings were fairly disappointing. Nevertheless, ABC renewed it, as the network continues to look for a genre show to fill the gigantic void Lost will leave.
But it wasn't all happy times. ABC has canceled FlashForward, Scrubs, and Romantically Challenged. FlashForward was one disaster after another, Scrubs shouldn't have been around this long in the first place, and Romantically Challenged never stood a chance. The fate of NBC's Heroes is still in the air.

What's up with all the love for Chuck? That show is average at best. I did hear the season finale was really good, but I haven't watched it. V is fairly average too, although I do watch and enjoy it. The season really did get better and better as it went along. I am genuinely surprised it wasn't cancelled, though. It's ratings weren't that great for primetime TV.

YAY V too! It's getting better and better. Loving the last few episodes. Good decision choosing V over FlashForward. FlashForward could have been good. Too bad. Sometimes it just isn't meant to be. Maybe we'll see a FlashForward reboot sometime in the future.
I thought I read another TV.com article that said Heroes was already cancelled? What's up? Oh, and, YAY CHUCK! =D
the third one was supposed to be only a 13 only, in the beggining and it ended being with 19(i think) maybe they'll change their minds. anyway...

Great news, although I hope that season four of Chuck works better than most of season 3. It was all over the place until half way through, when it finally reverted to the show I know and love, and restored the fun factor!As for V, I very nearly stopped watching after the first four, but I'm glad I persisted as it's matured quite well. The tension has been building week after week, and now it has a second season, and with the invasion looking like it's well under way, there could be a great dynamic to season two.I'm chuffed to pieces that the massive turd of a show that was FlashForward has been cancelled, and feel vindicated for turning off after the first 5 absurd episodes!

That Chuck is coming back is just awesome even if there will be just 13 episodes. The cast of Chuck is doing a hell of a job and they totaly earnd that.
V is setting up to be amazing. I just hope it doesn't do the supreme start a war and end it super quick mistake that most Sci-Fi shows do.

flashforward is just geting good with loos ends since we all know that the season fanaly will end with a cliffhanger that would set up for next season

Finally, the tv networks got it right. Chuck, thank you NBC. V, I never watched it, but I heard about it, and it might actually get really good in season two. Or maybe it won't. Either way. Flashforward needs to be put out of its misery. Scrubs never should have had a season nine. Romantically Challenged, what was that again? Heroes. . .see the other news. Finally, tv networks did something right.
