Comedy Central Orders Two More Rounds of Workaholics

The trio of Blake, Ders, and Adam will continue getting F'd up for two more seasons, as Comedy Central has renewed Workaholics for two more seasons. Seasons 4 and 5 will consist of a total of 26 episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The announcement was made at the Television Critics Association winter press tour on Saturday, when the Workaholics stars, method actors that they are, were no doubt nursing hangovers.

The series stars Blake Anderson, Adam Devine, and Anders Holm as three slackity slackers who work for a stale telemarketing company, often under the influence of whatever they can get their hands on. It also happens to be hilarious and you should fire it up on on demand immediately; if you're already a fan, you'll be happy to know that new episodes return on Wednesday, January 16.

Keeping the boozy theme going, Comedy Central also ordered Drunk History, from producers Will Ferrell and Adam McKay of Funny Or Die. The adaption of the web series will feature celebs reenacting famous moments from history while they're about a 12-pack deep.

I keep wanting to not watch this show, to have more dignity, more things to do with my free time. And yet... and yet, when it's on during flipping I watch it, when a season comes on Netflix I eventually watch it, and I laugh and laugh. I DON'T EVEN GET HIGH OR PARTY AT ALL! But Workaholics is funny, especially Blake being the most centered character of the trio because, c'mon, really now.

I've been interested in this show since they started airing trailers for it before it actually came out but didn't get around to watching it until a month or two ago. At first I didn't like it because I don't like the whole pot and drug glorification in movies and shows these days but after a few episodes I was hooked. Can't for it to return.

Where is the Futurama renewal?

I would guess it'd come before the second half of the season starts this summer. Otherwise the Futurama Comic-Con panel is going to be as grim as the one where they tried to get the cast to lower their pay and the cast went on strike, that was f'ing grim.

I'd imagine sometime in the next few months. If they don't announce something before the next half of the season, it could be doom. I'm hoping they can do a couple more seasons (Seasons 9 and 10), then end the series, but only if they can stay consistently awesome.
