What to watch on Thursday, March 24.
Hey, Friday called and it's really looking forward to hanging out tomorrow. But first you have to drive across town in rush hour traffic to pick up Thursday at the airport. Ugh, sometimes you wonder if your friendship with Thursday is even worth it. Oh well, at least it's got good TV:
Attention Pulp Fiction fans: In tonight's episode, Jeff plans a surprise party for Abed with the aforementioned film as its theme. But be forewarned, according to creator Dan Harmon's Twitter feed, the episode will merely contain references to the movie and will not be a full-on spoof. Noted!
Hey remember this show? Haha, just kidding, you probably remember this show. Tonight, Richard attempts to get Adele into Derek and Meredith's Alzheimer's trial, but then also receives the go-ahead for his own diabetes program. Also, Mark and Arizona both try to help out with Callie's baby shower, which is definitely NOT weird. Plus indie music that your mom might like.
SEASON FINALE, 9pm, Discovery Channel
Man vs. Wild
I've done the research, I've seen the statistics: the audience for this show is 8 percent people who enjoy tips on how to survive in the wild and 92 percent people who want to MARRY BEAR GRYLLS. Hey, tune in for tonight's season finale wherein Bear will give 8 percent of you tips on finding water in the desert and then give the rest of you WEDDING RINGS (maybe).
Don't be fooled by the title of tonight's episode, "The Garage Sale." I mean, yeah, the employees will be having a garage sale in the warehouse, BUT ALSO the big event/source of awkwardness will be Michael Scott popping the big question to Holly. Dang, our Michael Scott days are SO numbered, you guys.
SEASON FINALE, 10pm, MTV
One good thing about Jersey Shore's dreadful Miami interlude was that it tipped us off that this show is not really worth our time anymore. Very helpful! But tonight's season finale might be worth tuning in for because who knows where these people will end up in the near future? Meth labs? The U.S. Senate? Nobody knows! (Italy.) Anyway, tonight we'll close out the season with one couple "reaching a crossroads" and another couple "making it official." WHO will it be? J/K zzzzzzzzz.
SEASON PREMIERE, 11pm, MTV
The Hard Times of RJ Berger
One of MTV's rare scripted shows (that's actually pretty good) returns for Season 2 tonight, and follows the aftermath of Season 1's genuine heartbreaker of a finale. Tonight RJ deals with the repercussions of his hospital bed-deflowering of Lily right before she flatlined. You know, typical teen stuff.
