We got the strangest press kit in the mail today.

(Clockwise from left: a wanted poster from the "Metro Times"; a sketch of a WWI-esque soldier with wings, holding a gas mask and a stick of wheat; a "Conspiracy 365"-branded USB stick; a postcard from Ireland written by one "Dad" to one "Callum Ormond"; a letter from Cal Ormond begging us for help and insisting that he did not shoot his uncle and sister after the death of said "Dad" (a likely story); and a mysterious sheaf of parchment with the Middle English-style "Ormond Riddle" written upon it.)
It turns out that our help is needed in solving a mystery! How fun.
Of course, we immediately stuck the USB straight into our computer, heedless of possibly suspicious content and were treated to a preview and a featurette on a new show called Conspiracy 365, which will be airing on Movie Network Channels in January 2012.
So, apparently Callum Ormond's father was murdered in Ireland on a quest to find something out about their family, involving some jewellery and the aforementioned Ormond Riddle. Callum was then accused of shooting his uncle and sister, and is on the run from the law. He has 365 days (not one year; 365 days) to solve the mystery and clear his name.
While the boy-on-the-run-from-the-law-but-doesn't-know-why premise isn't exactly the most original idea, young boys will probably get into this show. Based on a series of 12 books by author Gabrielle Lord, which came out a month at a time for the 365 days (because we all know that the best literary works are churned out on a monthly basis), the TV show will be complemented by an online component of interactive entertainment. Once the site launches, you'll be able to join here!
Conspiracy 365 stars Harrison Gilbertson, James Sorensen, Rob Carlton, Julia Zemiro, Ryan O'Kane, Sachin Joab, Kate Kendall, Marny Kennedy, David Whiteley and Andrew Curry.
And, in case you're into this kind of thing, here follows ye olde Ormond Riddle:

Ooooo sounds interesting
Okay so is the whole thing some animated CGI thing or is that just for the promo?
