Corrie's factory under threat?

According to the Daily Star, evil Tony Gordon (Gray O'Brien) burns down the firm while on the run from prison, and boss Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) declares the place finished.

All its clients reportedly cancel their orders, and the firm is left facing bankruptcy.

It leaves employees Sean Tully (Antony Cotton), Julie Carp (Katy Cavanagh), Hayley Cropper (Julie Hesmondhalgh), Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine), Sally Webster (Sally Whittaker), Janice Battersby (Vicky Entwistle) and Teresa Bryant (Karen Henthorn) facing money woes, and accusing Nick of not doing enough to keep the business going.

The factory previously burned down in 2003 when Janice dropped a lighted cigarette.

Viewers will apparently be left wondering if someone will come to the aid of the stricken firm this time.
