Alice Coulthard hopes Maisie Wylde finds
love
In the soap, her character Maisie Wylde is in the midst of a downward spiral after discovering lover Ryan Lamb (James Sutton) is her half-brother.
Alice said: "I hope she finds someone she can fall in love with and be content because I don't think she's very content as a person - she's always searching for some excitement."
She went on: "I think she needs to settle down. To be honest, I think she needs to get her own head together first but I hope she finds some comfort."
But the actress could not name a suitable man for Maisie because the barmaid has too much else on her plate at the moment.
"I think it's too early to even think about who she could possibly end up with yet," she said.
Next week, Maisie will hit a new low when she beds a stranger and he leaves money on her pillow.
