Dancing With the Stars boots first duo

Everyone loves Dancing With the Stars! Well, at least 20-something million of you do, according to early ratings. The ABC reality sensation premiered its seventh edition this week, once again pairing "celebrities" with pro feet-shufflers in a winner-take-all, pants-on dance-off. The back-to-back episodes culminated in the season's first elimination, and I doubt anyone was surprised by who won't be back to cut a rug, or anything for that matter.

Surprise! The middle-aged
goofy white guy was first out.

Comedian Jeffrey Ross--remember him from those poem-reading MTV promos?--and partner Edyta Sliwinska were the first to be told "don't let the back door hit you on the backside" after an abysmal cha-cha routine.

Perhaps Ross should have heeded the warning sign. He almost definitely saw it up close--very close. On Monday, Sliwinska accidentally scratched Ross' cornea, forcing the perennial Friar's Roast yukster to get his pirate on and don an eye patch. Seems he had two left peg legs...

All eyes are on Kim Kardashian (or at least a portion of her, you dirty dogs), but the tabloid magnet survived thanks in part to her rump-shaking to Sir Mix-a-Lot's "Baby Got Back." Expect a thrilling waltz to Zapp & Roger's "More Bounce to the Ounce" tonight.

Cloris Leachman--at 82 years young--is this year's shocking wild card, simultaneously winning fans and enemies because of her showboating antics. She's been shamelessly prodding the judges, playing the AARP card among other things. If she's booted tonight, which some are predicting, Dancing With the Stars will lose one of its most entertaining contestants.

It's still early on, but the clear favorite appears to be former Wild On hostess and swimsuit model Brooke Burke, who whisks her leggy frame across the dance floor with partner Derek Hough like a warm butter knife spreading cream cheese over a bagel (it must be lunch time).

Dancing With the Stars continues tonight on ABC at 8 p.m. Who do you think will get the boot tonight? And who is your favorite so far?
