Doctor Who's sexy new assistant works as a kissogram, it has been claimed.
New Time Lord Matt Smith's side-kick Amy Pond, played by Karen Gillan, 22, has been pictured filming scenes for the new series in a police uniform, leading fans to assume she will be a policewoman - but insiders have revealed to The Sun the uniform is part of her saucy job.
A source said: "Everyone thinks she is this prim and proper policewoman, however it's going to be revealed early on that she works as a kissogram - it's going to be a bit of a shock for the fans, but I think they're going to enjoy it."
The insider went on: "Amy Pond's a really strong character and Karen is great in the role."
Karen will reportedly be seen in a variety of skimpy costumes when she makes her screen debut as Amy in the spring, and will also demonstrate her kissing skill on the Doctor.
The twist in her appearance is apparently part of new Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat's plan to give the show more edge.
The source added: "Moffat's an edgier writer and the show is going in an exciting new direction."
Karen follows in the footsteps of Catherine Tate, Billie Piper, Kylie Minogue, Michelle Ryan and Freema Agyeman by playing the Time Lord's assistant.
Matt, 26, took over from David Tennant as The Doctor in the New Year's special of the BBC sci-fi show.
She will probably be used to the skimpy outfits, in the Kevin Bishop Show KB takes every opportunity he can to have her in various states of undress!! She is hands down the best looking assistant ever.
