Illeana Douglas has come on board ABC's comedy pilot Women of a Certain Age, which stars Heather Locklear as widow who embarks on a new life with her two best friends. Douglas will play one of the friends.
Douglas' credits include the upcoming feature film Factory Girl. She also has recently appeared on ABC's Crumbs, HBO's Six Feet Under and NBC's Law & Order: SVU.
In other pilot casting news, Xander Berkeley has joined ABC's drama pilot Women in Law, a comedy-drama about women working at a law firm. He most recently appeared in the feature film North Country.
I think Mad_Buck is on to something. Lets put all the failed sitcom actors on one show and hope that it is so bad that it's good.
Heather Locklear and Bonnie Hunt should do a series together. Lord knows, they've been in enough shows that bombed.
