Teen odd couple Drake & Josh are returning to television after four seasons of mischievous comedy. The Nickelodeon show ran between 2004 and 2007, and starred Drake Bell and Josh Peck as polar opposites who find themselves in close quarters after they become stepbrothers.
Many a teenage girl's heart was crushed when the show went off the air in September 2007, but it isn't quite yet time to tear down the Drake & Josh posters from bedroom walls.
The duo will return to reprise their roles in a made-for-television Drake & Josh titled Drake & Josh: Best Christmas Ever. The one-off film, as its title suggests, is currently scheduled to air this holiday season on Nickelodeon.
The story will see the titular pair working in a mall, one as the mall Santa Claus and one as his assistant, near the holiday season. Drake and Josh find themselves promising a less fortunate girl that this will be the best Christmas ever--let's hope there is a happy ending!
Drake & Josh has done the TV-movie thing twice before. Drake & Josh Go Hollywood aired in early 2006 and Drake & Josh: Really Big Shrimp debuted in August 2007. Shrimp performed particularly well for Nickelodeon, raking in the network's best movie ratings ever.
