ER vet Stringfield a CBS Company player

Sherry Stringfield has come on board CBS's drama pilot Company Town, which revolves around government agents who live in the same Washington neighborhood.

Stringfield will play a mother of teenagers and a whistle-blower on the investment firm for which she works. Blair Underwood recently signed up to play an FBI agent.

Stringfield recently wrapped a multiyear run on NBC's long-running medical drama ER, for which she received three Emmy nominations. She next appears in the indie film Gone.

I can only hope Sherry will return to the ER for the final wrap, whenever that is! NBC should bring back as many of the original actors as they can. . .Julia, George, Dr. Green's wife and child from England, and in the hallways and corners, we should see the ghosts of those who were a part of ER, but gone. . .Dr. Green, Carter's intern who was knifed to death, the intern who committed suicide by jumping in front of the EL, etc etc etc.

Holy cr*p! They're doing a show about where I grew up! Now the question is, is it in Monkey Co., Fairfax Co., or Bowie-Belair? (Yes, I've lived and/or worked in all three due to my own work and to being a military intelligence brat.)

I love Sherry, but watching this show sounds a little scary. These areas are the definition of suburban dysfunction.
