Fall Schedule 2006

fallschedule2006_header.jpg

The networks have announced their plans for this year's fall schedule, and it's shaping up to be a doozy! Not only are we waiting for scores of new shows to debut, but we're also looking forward to the birth of a brand new network. In addition to exciting premieres like Ugly Betty and Jericho, we'll be glad to welcome old favorites like 7th Heaven and Law & Order back to our living rooms. So grab a pen and calendar, draw up a loose outline of your viewing future, and then go shopping for enough canned goods to last you through the fall--because you won't want to leave your TV for a moment!

I'm especially excited about several new shows including Jericho, Six Degrees, Brothers & Sisters and Studio 60. I typically stick to comedies, but I really enjoy the "storytelling" in these dramas. The writing is smart, the stories compelling and characters intriguing. I hope the networks keep these shows around for awhile!

Okay, so far Heroes, Jericho, and Ugly Betty are the only to get the full season. All the returning favorites seem to be doing good. I hope Shark gets the axe. God, I hate James Woods. So, One Tree Hill, Grey's Anatomy, and the other veterans are doing okay. So, I hope they stick around! Yay for Heroes! I disagree with Jericho.

I was expecting to see an update to this page, as the link on the main TV.com page said:
Fall Schedule 2006 Which few remain?
but this article seems to be the same one from early August 2006. An update showing who died, who got a full year, and who is coming in from the bull pen to replace the dead would be nice. Otherwise why keep promoting a two plus month old article?

my newest fav. shows are Heroes, Jericho, and Dexter. the others i like are Weeds, Boston Legal, The Office, My name is Earl, Smallville, How I met your mother, and Grey's Anatomy. also Medium, Monk, Mind of Mencia, are good TV shows.

i dont watch TV, i dont have a TV, i dont live in States, i spent all my money on my computer., so i dl them all, best part is there is no commercials.. 1 hr show is 40min, you save 20min of your life, : but I own all the DVDs of my favorite shows. someday i'll buy a nice big TV and watch them none stop... thats my dream, huh

for all you Medium fans. I don't know when NBC( I think) is going to air new episodes of Medium but for those of you with cable check out lifetime on Sundays. Over here they are airing it after Angela's eyes. It's a nice twofer for me on Sundays(HT) 7:00 PM Angela's eyes 8:00 PM Medium

for the record my shows to record. I'm a network's worst nightmare. I HATE, HATE, HATE some of the moronic commercials and tape everything so I can fast forward past the commercials. Also I work Monday-Friday and get back at the end of Prime time

There is now officially nothing to watch on CW on Friday Nights. I did like "What I like about You" and "Living with Fran". I think its interesting that someone slammed Fran Drescher for her acting. Since "Fashion House" has Bo Derek and she has no personality in the show she's on. That's not to say that the character in the story wouldn't be good. She just needs to take acting lessons and learn how to give her character some blood. Her character is flat. If you were to bring the two above shows back, certainly don't put them in time slots against "Las Vegas."
