First Dawson, Now Dylan: Luke Perry Joins CSI: Cyber

Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Luke Perry is reportedly heading to CSI: Cyber.

In a role that’s potentially recurring, Perry will play Nick Dalton, a former FBI agent who has ties to Special Agent Avery Ryan’s (Patricia Arquette) past, according to TV Line. The character was supposed to lead the cyber unit in Washington, D.C., but the position was taken away from him after a falling-out.

CSI: Cyber will focus on a team that investigates crimes that begin online but have real-world repercussions. Perry joins a cast that includes Arquette, James Van der Beek, Peter MacNicol, and Bow Wow.

yeah you'd be happier watching Survivor, Undercover Boss or some other dumb reality show they're making these days. TV sucks because of opinionated morons like you.

sorry but I don't watch ANY reality shows. Ones I watch regularly include Blacklist and Person of Interest.

and I am sorry that you think that anyone who doesn't kiss your butt and agree with your every opinion is an opinionated jerk. It must be great to be right all the time llike obviuoously think you are.

Yeah, they hatin', but TV doin' pretty good right now.

As for CSI:Cyber, I'm giving it a chance because I like Patricia Arquette (the star), plus it's adding the new angle of cyberpsychology to the otherwise decades-old crime scene / detective procedural. The "back door pilot" last season was quite good, IMHO, and we get another one on the November 2 CSI.

Just throwing it out there, but not being interested in the 900th spin off of a show that was past it's prime 10 years ago, doesn't make @BillyRay3384 a reality TV loving opinionated moron.

It stars two teen soap opera actors that never really made it past their original shows and "rapper" turned actor Bow Wow.

This is what what you're defending?

I love Luke Perry. I am going to give this show a shot. I hate that people can't get past "Dylan." He is a good actor. He has done some good work (especially on Oz) since "Dylan." He just need a good role and people to let the "Dylan" thing go.

Well...the Bow WOw thing is certainly left field...mostly b/c he's a rapper and not a late thirties or older white person on CBS? I guess he's supposed to draw in the "hip" crowd

I agree with Tim's criticisms, but I think it was important for the terminally Ill guy to provide some exposition despite the fact it was a little odd the hacker and the inspector decided to go see him.

What I mostly like about how the show is progressing is that shit is only getting worse and worse. I love how no character is safe.

Zero things about this show look good, and this feels like stunt casting more than trying to make it better.

I'm loving that James Van Der Beek & Luke Perry are getting TV roles but why are they on shitty CBS procedurals?

because being a regular on a CBS procedural is better than being a guest celebrity on some crappy reality show like Survivor.

Whose dumb idea was it to give Bow Wow a role as a regular cast member on a weekly drama series?
