LOS ANGELES--Fox president Peter Ligouri predicts Thursdays this fall will be the night America is glued to the tube. Ligouri, speaking at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Pasadena, California, noted that all of the nets have moved some of their biggest guns to the night.
"[It'll be] one monster night of TV," he said of the night, which will feature CSI on CBS, Grey's Anatomy on ABC, Deal Or No Deal on NBC, and the new Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond) sitcom 'Til Death on his own network.
Ligouri criticized ABC president Stephen McPherson, who spoke last week at the TCA, about comments McPherson has made in the past regarding Fox copying premises for reality shows from the alphabet network. Ligouri cited ABC's new low-rated show The One, which has been called a clone of Fox ratings titan American Idol.
"McPherson probably owes [Fox] an apology," Liguori said Monday. "He spends a lot of time dumping on [Fox] for copycatting, and I think he got a big stiff one there."
Fox has seven new shows premiering this fall.
Duets is American Idol crossed with Dancing With the Stars, a reality show wherein celebrities are given singing tutelage by their professional duet partners. Standoff tells the story of hostage negotiators. 'Til Death is a relationship sitcom starring Brad Garrett and Joely Fischer, and Happy Hour is a working-stiff-has-problems-with-ladies comedy starring Bradley Cooper (Kitchen Confidential). Justice is a legal drama from Jerry Bruckheimer, and Vanished follows the hunt for a senator's kidnapped wife. Saturday at midnight will see Fox follow MADtv with Talk Show with Spike Feresten.

Wohoo! The O.C.! Like someone else mentioned, I hope that Arrested Development is slipped in there, but I highly doubt that it'll happen.
By the way tivopotato, why do you an O.C. logo and you're only cheering for House, Prison Break, and Duets? Just curious.
Wouldn't it be great if Arrested Development was quietly slipped in there.
Yes!!! Prison Break and House
can't wait for House, Prison Break, and Duets! ahhh! i'm so excited!
Prison break better not suck like the second half of the first season, hopefully it will tide me over until 24, shiat, cant wait for 24 to come back, cant wait
It seems that they didn't show King Of The Hill because its on before 8:00pm. Im so sicked about Season 18 of the Simpsons.
Till death is the only New show on Fox that i want to see other then that i'll just stick to my simpsons
where is King of the Hill?
I stand corrected, Bones is pretty good.
I think Monday is the oly day worth watching Fox.
And shouldn't Justice be on the CW instead?
the only three shows fox has worth watching are prison break, bones, and house. i refuse to watch reality shows of any type.
Prison Break is back. Now there is something to tide me over until 24.
24 wont return until january 1st or 2nd weekend
Why is War at Home still on the air? That show is not that good.
This is only the new time schedule, not the actually dates of a new season..
Most likely it`s all reruns if it is not confirmed by schedule listed with each show..
Prison Break...finally
I was looking for the show that's going to die on Friday, but Nanny 9/11 is still going strong.
Justice looks kinda interesting, and I'm definitely going to be watching The Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad.
24 dosen't come to midseason.
Can't wait for House, 24 and Bones. May do Justice and Standoff. That's about all
I'm only looking forward to sunday nights and saturday. Til' Death sounds good and Happy Hour. As you can see I really like comedy.
yay prison break is back but were is 24!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Finally, I get my Bones fix again!
Prison Break...Usually I find hokey and OTT stuff a real turn off.
But yet PB still has a charm to make me find it entertaining. Everyone's got a guilty pleasure!
Fox has the best line up of shows with "The Simpsons, Prison Break, Vanished, American Dad, America's Most Wanted, Cops, House, Standoff. Keep it coming Fox.
24 rocks
Can't wait for House and Prison Break and Justice
Prison Break returns in less than a month!
