Fox rejiggers midseason schedule

The dry-erase boards at Fox Broadcasting are certainly getting a workout as a result of the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike. The network today once again revamped its midseason schedule, and it's now a bit all over the map.

The biggest move by Fox is the decision to postpone the series debut of When Women Rule the World, the gender-bending reality show, which sees the fairer sex in charge. The show has not been given a new premiere date yet.

Because of the State of the Union address scheduled for January 28, Fox is moving back the season finales of Prison Break and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles to February 18 and March 3, respectively. The Terminator finale will be a two-hour episode.

Crime-drama New Amsterdam will now air on Mondays, beginning March 10. Fox will also preview the first two episodes of the series on March 4 and March 6, respectively. Fellow new show Canterbury's Law also moves to Mondays beginning April 14, and The Return of Jezebel James, will now premiere on March 14.

New episodes of Back to You will air after American Idol on February 26 and 27 before returning to its regular Wednesday time slot on March 19. 'Til Death will air new episodes on Fridays beginning March 14.

House and Bones were made for eachother. I hate when they split them up. American Idol is a disgrace to television ans an artistic medium.

I'm actually glad that Fox has decided to postpone When Woman Rule The World. Now if other networks would postpone their reality shows, I'd be thrilled. I'm disappointed that the Terminator will only have 4 episodes. The other new shows I'm looking forward to are New Amsterdam and Canterbury's Law.

This article is all over the place! What happened to the entire month of January?! Downright misleading!

It seems Prison Break actually starts up again on 1/14/08 for another 5-6 episodes; the Sarah Connor one starts on 1/13/08 for a 11-12 episode run.

It would've been more helpful for us readers to know that before telling us about when the finales are gonna air!

So Terminator will have 4 hours (not even with ads) for a complete season?! I saw the premiere this summer and it wasn't oo bad... It's a shame that it has come to a 4 episode season... It makes the BBC look generous with it's 6-12 episode seasons.
