Fox summer touts new old shows

Fox's summer schedule will include several new episodes...of reality programming.

That's the gist of the press release sent out by the network, with the only other major news being a delay of When Women Rule the World. This is the second time the show has been rescheduled--it was originally meant to debut March 3. The gender-role-reversal "social experiment" doesn't have an updated premiere date, opening up the question of whether it will air at all.

While sitting on the couch with the air conditioning blasting in a few months, viewers will have their pick of several reality programs. The home-wrecking The Moment of Truth will return May 27 alongside hothead chef Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen.

Fox's inadvertent statement on the quality of the American education system--also known as Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader--is back in session June 12.

Singing and dancing get their due in the form of Don't Forget the Lyrics and So You Think You Can Dance. Lyrics returns on June 1, and Dance takes over Wednesdays and Thursdays in late May.

Fox's latest summer schedule is below:

Great, someone finally comes up with a reality show I would be slightly interested in watching and they most likely won't air it. Well, it sounds good on paper, but since it is a FOX reality show they'ed screw it up anyway.

When Women Rule the World delayed again - isn't that like a double negative or something?

Completely stupid to have new bones & house on mondays. Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother & Two & Half Men are what mondays is about. This will hurt both shows.

Too bad those episodes of House and the Sunday line-up won't be new... Although Family Guy REALLY should be airing through the summer. They have about 13-15 episodes still left and written for the current season that haven't aired.

Hells Kitchen is probably the only Reality TV that I make time to watch. Such a pity GR no longer fronts the UK version as that has never been the same since he left, no one else quite has the same ratio of nice:nasty

@ Voicetracked

FOX already has a FOX Reality channel. I can see why most people don't know about it though. Not many good shows on FOX. House, Prison Break, and New Amsterdam are the only ones that I can think of right now. I forget if they're bringing back The Sarah Connor Chronicles. That was decent.

Just as long as "New Amsterdam is in the cards somewhere!
