Franklin & Bash, SYTYCD, and The World According to Paris

What to watch on Wednesday, June 1.

This morning when the dump truck came and took your home away, hopefully you were able to salvage your flat-screen. Otherwise that would've been a tragedy! Here are four reasons why:

8pm, Fox
So You Think You Can Dance
Auditions continue during these precious early rounds of the summer's best reality competition show. Dreams will be smashed, dreams will be fulfilled. The best is when we get to watch a five-minute pre-packaged sob story about someone's background and then they get immediately cut by the judges.vSo brutal! Oh, good luck, you kids.

SERIES PREMIERE, 9pm, TNT
Franklin & Bash
TNT's newest hour-long is a buddy-lawyer procedural starring '90s dreamboats Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer. In tonight's premiere episode, the boys' flashy courtroom antics catch the eye of an enterprising law firm headed by Malcolm McDowell. Uh-oh. It's Malcolm McDowell, run!!

MIDSEASON PREMIERE, 10pm, TNT
Men of a Certain Age
TNT's surprisingly great dramedy returns tonight with Penelope Ann Miller guest-starring. Yay! Joe visits his beloved bookie as he faces down an impending medical procedure, plus Terry and Erin take their relationship to "a new level." I'm not sure what that means, though; I guess I'm not of a certain age yet.

SERIES PREMIERE, 10pm, Oxygen
The World According to Paris
Hey, remember Paris Hilton? Tonight she's back with a new reality show detailing her very interesting and clever lifestyle. In the premiere episode, she'll move in with Nikki Hilton after a scary break-in, plus a text message threatens to interfere with Paris' love life. Obviously.
