Friday Afternoon Distractions

Whiling away your last few hours at work? These videos should help make time fly extra fast!

Featuring some of best dance moves from the likes of John Travolta, Kevin Bacon, Jessica Alba, Patrick Swayze and Meryl Streep, this is a perfect lift to a slow Friday.

It's a bit late for Halloween-related videos, but this made a late appearance following the festive date and is definitely worthy of a mention.

It boggles the mind to think how long it must have taken to match up this light show with Michael Jackson's "Thriller".

Star Trek's William Shatner is always a perfect candidate for self-parody, and on US talk show Lopez Tonight, he performed a wonderful spoken word version of Cee-Lo's hit song "F**k You". Incredibly moving.

This sneak peek into British Tourism's new initiative to welcome visitors into the country is a must-see for anyone planning a trip to the UK.

Quite frankly, it's dumbfounding that the traditional British welcome has not been promoted in earlier campaigns as it's certainly a selling point.

This is what happens. Seriously.

And finally, Modern Family favourite Sofia Vergara appeared on The Ellen Show to discuss her work-out regime and flex her diva-esque powers to ensure that she gets all the attention she quite rightly deserves.

And she dissects her well-parodied accent with self-awareness aplomb, in this great little 'candid camera' set-up!

That Thriller video was amazing. I can't imagine anyone actually doing that.
