Whiling away your last few hours at work? These videos should help make time fly extra fast!
Although it's almost eight months old, this gem, which compares Usher's club hit OMG to Homer Simpson's attempt at writing a Christmas carol, recently resurfaced. Seen in the episode "Dude, Where's My Ranch?" from season 14, the episode originally aired in 2003. Did the R&B; singer really
take inspiration rip off The Simpsons? You be the judge, but we find it both amusing and lame!
On the set of How I Met Your Mother, Barney (Neil Patrick Harris), Ted (Josh Radnor), Robin (Cobie Smulders), Lily (Alyson Hannigan) and Marshall (Jason Segal) share what the show means to them and their opinion on its long-lasting success -- but with remarks like "beside a paycheck?" (0:22), "no comment" (0:27) and "I'm gonna answer this honestly" (0:29) we're a bit dubious on how sincere their love for HIMYM really is! What do you think?
After filming a pilot for -->Baywatch--> Down Under in 1999, ex-Baywatch star David Hasselhoff returned to Bondi Beach this week to shoot a commercial for the Australian ice cream, Splice. While the jerky camera angles and sight of the Hoff giving an interview as he eats the aforementioned ice cream bar are enough to turn our stomachs, we're equally disturbed by his news that he is performing in a stage version of Peter Pan while former co-star Pamela Anderson (who was here for Dancing with the Stars last year) is performing in Aladdin?!
Bonus: there is a massive Splice billboard in glaring view of TV.com's Sydney office as a daily reminder of this video. Sigh.
Continuing this week's trend of questionable videos, The Asian News has become one of the most popular videos since its release on Tuesday, raking up over 200,000 views. Maybe it's just us but the crude humour, multiple versions of the host in the same shot and pretending to be his mum just makes us think of a male wannabe version of YouTube Community Channel's Natalie Tran. Sorry Nat.
And to finish the week on an awesome note, check out this Fiddler on the Roof / You Got Served mash up. Did we say it's awesome? Well, it is.
