Friday Afternoon Distractions

Whiling away your last few hours at work? These videos should help make time fly extra fast!

Spicks & Specks host and funny man Adam Hills (not Wil Anderson as he is regularly mistaken for) will debut his new variety show Adam Hills In Gordon St Tonight, promising comedy, music acts, celebrity guests and yet-to-be-revealed "special tricks". This "olden days"-style promo spruiks the program as "the future of television!"

Featuring "The Lonely Man Theme" from The Incredible Hulk, how can you not "awww" as this (supposedly) sad koala munches on an apple with a faraway look in his eye...

Safe For Work but only just so, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has used the casting sessions from last year's controversial "Veggie Love" advert -- which was refused by NBC for screening during the Super Bowl -- as this year's spot. Sporting the tag line "vegetarians have better sex", we're wondering how solid their research was....

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester has a new movie coming out called The Roommate and a clever Public Service Announcement (PSA) spoof to promote it. Check out her special message for room-mates everywhere: Don't Touch My Sh*t. I hope my room-mate is watching!

To end the week on a slightly disturbing note, here's the trailer for the world premiere of Anna Nicole Smith: The Opera, set to debut at London's Royal Opera House in mid-February. We're pretty sure it's not meant to be a joke, but we're having a hard time fathoming why anyone would want to see this.
