Friday Afternoon Distractions

Whiling away your last few hours at work? These videos should help make time fly extra fast!

This trailer for the Johannes Nyholm's short film "Las Palmas" might have more substance than what you see here -- but it's a baby getting drunk and trashing a bar and that's all we care about. We'd never give a child alcohol in real life, but it's hilarious because it's on the internet, right?!

The NZ Herald has created a spoof website -- NZ Notworth News -- to make viewers aware that the news stories they see might not be 100 per cent fact. In other words, to show people that its content is high quality and its competitors are not. In this advert, Notworth News TV weather presenter TreAnn Chalmers talks about her goal to report the weather as precisely as possible, at one point explaining "a big weather thing is expected to hit somewhere at some stage". It's clever, tongue-in-check, a bit suggestive, and we like it. You can also "meet" the rest of the Notworth News TV team in this clip.

Still on New Zealand, our favourite cartoon whale and his seagull friend from animated series Beached Az have put together this sweet clip to encourage donations to help those affected by Tuesday's devastating earthquake in Christchurch.

Now, what do you get when you mash together the most popular viral video stars? The ultimate meme-movie, of course! In this official trailer for The Chronicles of Rick Roll, we get to see the Bed Intruder Song, Double Rainbow guy, Leeroy Jenkins, WoW Freakout Kid, Boom goes the dynamite, Gary Brolsma performing Numa Numa, and the one and only Rick Astley. This could be awesome or horrible, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Hey ladies, here's some sound advice.
