Friday Afternoon Distractions

Whiling away your last few hours at work? These videos should help make time fly extra fast!

Unless you've been living under a rock (or without an internet connection) this week, you've probably heard of the latest "YouTube sensation" Rebecca Black and her terribly annoying pop song "Friday". With over 14 million hits since her "debut" on Monday, she has gone viral, spawning numerous parodies and mashups of the auto-tune atrocity. She has also been compared to teen heartthrob Justin Bieber, with some saying her ditty sounds exactly like Bieber's "Baby". This Bob Dylan-esque rendition almost makes the lyrics bearable. Almost.

Speaking of parodies, this Christian version of Cee Lo Green's "F@#$ You" titled "Bless You" has some interesting lines in it... At the 2:00 mark, we're told "ya play too much Xbox, ya play too much Atari", which begs the question, what do video games have to do with religion?

Yep, this is the Thai version of Australia's Got Talent. Wait for a shocking surprise at 1:05!

To finish off this week's musical theme, check out this medley of some of The Simpsons best loved in-show tunes.
