Fringe, Tina Fey on SNL, and the new Aqua Teen Hunger Force

What a week! Goodbye week, go jump in a tar pit. Oh, hello, weekend! Lookin' good!

What to watch on Friday, May 6.

8pm, NBC
Friday Night Lights
More conflicts arise in the Lions locker room, plus Tami mentors a troubled teen and Luke receives an offer from TMU. Wait, does TMU offer full-ride scholarships for being DREAMY? Not sure. Let's tune in to find out!

SEASON 3 FINALE, 9pm, Fox
Fringe
Yikes, I'm almost afraid to get into it, but here's as vague a description as I can muster: In tonight's season finale, Peter "meets his destiny" and another team member "dies."

9pm, CW
Supernatural
In this Castiel-centric episode, we'll learn about the war in heaven and how Castiel and Raphael became enemies. But then the boys will start to question why some of the details don't add up. Ugh, logic.

SEASON 4 PREMIERE, 8pm, CBS
Flashpoint
This is going to seem very unprofessional coming from someone who writes for TV.com, but I have NEVER heard of this show. It's my fault, not Flashpoint's, I'm sure, but still: It's been on for FOUR seasons and I've never heard of it. Do you guys like it? Should I try and spotlight it each week? You tell me. Anyway, tonight's season premiere deals with the hunt of a prisoner after he escapes from a transport van, plus Ed finds out his pregnant wife has been rushed to the hospital.

My Cat From Hell
This show will probably set back the cat movement by a few decades, but oh well. It's a GREAT title! In tonight's premiere, feline behaviorists need to do a bit of cat whispering when a cat comes between a woman and her boyfriend.

Flashpoint is awesome. And the fact that it is made in Canada means it isn't going to be cancelled at the drop of a hat like great shows made in the USA.

Flashpoint is awesome! CBS just crams it into the summer and airs it in a strange order that confuses US viewers.

Craig Ferguson tonight. The Killing on Sunday. I usually watch Breakout Kings, but I've gotten a tad bored of the show. I'll watch it if I feel in the mood, I guess. I used to watch Flashpoint, but that's gotten a bit boring too -- I think it focuses too much on emotion, gets kind of corny at times. It's been aired on CBS for a few years now, but as doeyetman said, they air it completely separate from the airings in Canada, so the season numbers and episode numbers are all messed up.

You probably never heard of flashpoint because its Canadian and doesn't get a lot of air time in the us. Also since CBS airs the episodes improperly and miss numbered. I believe what your calling season 4 is actually just the second half of season three, which has already aired in Canada. (episode 308 i think)
