Game of Thrones' Pedro Pascal Will Headline Netlfix's Drug Drama Narcos

From Dorne/Westeros to Colombia! Pedro Pascal will follow up his mind-blowing performance as Game of Thrones' Oberyn Martell with a leading role in Netflix's upcoming drug drama Narcosaccording to Variety.

The based-on-a-true-story series will star Pascal as Mexican DEA agent Javier Peña, who travels to the South American country on a U.S. mission to capture and kill cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura). Narcos currently has a 10-episode order and is slated for a 2015 premiere.

This is not the first time Pascal will carry a badge for a role: The actor's resume also includes special agent credits on Graceland and The Mentalist.

Thanks for the information and it would be nice to see Wagner Moura on a show, even if he's playing a Colombian.

But you could of spelled Columbia proper.

After his good performance on GOT, many will at least watch the pilot.

I did not remember him in Graceland. Is he a regular ?

Thanks for the Graceland reminder it was driving me nuts where I knew him from all season. I imagine I will be reminded again next week as Briggs will probably be having flashbacks of killing Juan.

It would be polite to the Special Agent in Charge to spell his last name Peña.

To be fair, the worst of the drug problem in the United States is in D.C. That's where I'd send the Feds.

awesome. maybe narcos will be the first netflix series I have an interest in, though it would probably have to beat out the marvel series in release for that to be the case.

also, mexico is a north american country.
