Game of Thrones: Watch the Second Full Trailer for Season 3 (VIDEO)

In case you don't have the news tattooed across your chest like I do, Game of Thrones returns for Season 3 on March 31. I've actually been trying to avoid as much footage of the season as possible because I like the show to hit me over the head like Robert Baratheon's warhammer, but even I haven't been able to resist peeking at the first two trailers, the second of which was released last night.

Oh man, this season is going to be FANTASTIC.

HBO also released a couple additional, shorter trailers, but I'm not watching them because I've seen too much already!

Game of Thrones "The Beast"

Game of Thrones "War"

I'd post a better comment, but as the third book is my absolute favorite I'm afraid my comment would contain nothing but spoilers about what I'm excited to see. So I'm censoring myself and will leave just this:

CANNOT. WAIT.

Book # 3 is the best! I hope that rule also applies for the TV show...

I enjoy the show but trailers fooled me last season. Season 2 moved so slowly. Almost nothing happened for the first 8 episodes. If it weren't for the last two episodes I would have considered it a flop. I hope season 3 moves a bit quicker.

Alright, here you go:
She is going to see her (new) husband! Remember how Sansa always dreamed of someday marrying the knight in shiny armor? Now imagine the opposite of that and with a clue(closely related to Jeoffrey) you can figure it out... hihi it's gonna be fun, and that is just the start ....

Yeah it would be awesome if there were more than ten, but at the same time we can't forget that a normal HBO season is 12 episodes. So besides the obvious biggest reason they shorten it is because of how expensive it is to make the show, we should be happy there is at least ten and they haven't canceled the show by now due to cost like they have done in the past with "Rome" and "Carnivale" and Deadwood. Plus the good thing about it being ten eps per season actually pertains to seasons 3 and 4, you probably know by now the show is based on a book series. Each book is really really long, The first two books are approximately 8 to 900 pages, and with ten hours per book so far I think they did a great job with the adaptation and putting in as much as possible. Now book 3 however is longer than the previous, I think close to 1200 pages, and it being that Martin originally intended the series to be a trilogy but decided to keep going, that is why book 3 wraps up many, not all of the story lines, leaving the unfinished ones and new ones set up for book 4. so what they are doing is dividing book 3 with season 3 the first half, and 4 obviously the second.
Now yes I know that was not your point and it would be awesome if it were more than ten eps, but at the same time we should be happy that we have it at all, I mean they already sealed the deal for season 4 so we don't have to worry about cancellation. And I did read a rumor a while back that they were going to be filming both seasons concurrently and possibly make the wait between S3 and 4 only a few months. Now remember that was a rumor I read I don't know for sure.
Anyway one week just one more week, Winter is Coming!
