Garrison pleads guilty to manslaughter

Actor Lane Garrison earned fame as David "Tweener" Apolskis, an inmate in the fictional Fox River State Penitentiary, on the Fox drama Prison Break.

It looks as though the actor is going back to prison, but this time he won't be pretending.

Garrison, 26, pleaded guilty today to vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence charges stemming from a fatal car crash in December, reports Reuters. The wreck killed a 17-year-old Vahagn Setian and injured two 15-year-old girls who were passengers in the car.

The actor allegedly met the teenagers at a store and was taking them to a party when he crashed into a tree. Garrison's blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit and prosecutors say he was also high on cocaine.

Garrison faces a maximum sentence of six years and eight months in prison. He is due back in court for sentencing in early August.

Prison Break enters its third season this fall. Garrison's character was killed off last October. Garrison most recently was seen in the movie Shooter.
