The competitors, who will have to survive on basic rations and create their camps from scratch, arrive on the Island unaware that this year, only one of them will be walking away with the £70,000 prize, not the winning tribe.
In previous years, Channel 4 has added numerous twists to the show including a 'survival island' for evicted castaways and the arrival of former contestants.
Shipwrecked: Battle of the Islands will make up part of T4's weekend programming on Channel 4, premiering on Sunday February 1 at 12:30pm.
