Girl Meets World Finally Has a Premiere Date and a Full-length Trailer (VIDEO)

Disney's highly anticipated Boy Meets World spin-off will finally hit the air this summer: Girl Meets World will debut Friday, June 27 at 9:45pm following the premiere of the network's original movie Zapped, starring Zendaya.

The show will then move to its regular time slot, Fridays at 8:30pm, on July 11.

Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will reprise their roles as Cory and Topanga, who are raising their family in New York City. Throughout the first season, other Boy Meets World alums, including Rider Strong, will make cameos, though the show will primarily focus on the couple's daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard).

I'm not really surprised that the trailer looked terrible. But it's not like I was expecting it to be good begin with, considering it's on Disney. You never know though, it could be okay. I'll be rooting for it just because I was a big fan of the original.

New York City? Boo. The Philadelphia setting was a big part of why I loved the original. Alan letting Corey stay up late to watch a Phillies game? Priceless. The Mets? Not so much.

I can't wait to see the show. So glad they have finally announced a date. It's only fitting that it will air on Fridays at 8:30.

I'm honestly not expecting much.. this is a Disney Channel show so it's obviously not going to be anything like Boy Meets World or else it'd have gone to ABC or ABC Family... I will still probably watch it whenever I don't have anything else, but I don't see it as being a show you'd have to watch every episode so I won't be in a bind if I miss any.

For real. So what if it's already been taken care of in the comments? The extra effort of scrolling down two inches totally isn't worth it.

Wow!!!
Relax people...

There's no reason spin your judgment of Tv Shows or Movies by Previews... Because they tell different messages and signs to the actual whole thing of it...

And how do you know the show will be bad news, just going by the previews of the show is shown down? No wonder you people are disappointed, you only see bunch of clips and scenes put together show of the series...

Give it a fair chance!!!

It might turn out being the next Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire kind of type show.... As more good decent family show type than others were playing out...

And, I know Disney Channels like to turn their shows into based movies versions of the actual tv show... But I don't think we will see Girl Meets World entering down that path getting based movie version of themselves at all...
